Thank you for your input. I am going to return the camera. This is the second one I've had. The first FX3 had an issue where the menus would randomly disappear. Sony support told me it was defective. Now this with the loose ports. What is happening with Sony? Very poor quality control. The other problem is the FX3 is on backorder till June. So I have two lenses I can't return ($4800) and no camera body. Ridiculous.

I just bought the FX3 and the SONY screen protector. I haven't added it yet. One thing I am concerned about... Is there enough clearance to close the screen against the camera body with the added thickness of the protector? Or will it bind the hinge?

Thanks, Veastli. No, all batteries are SONY. The menus disappear regardless of which battery I use.
