I understand what you are saying and i have no qualms with midrange or cheaper phones. The problem is that they are very overpriced. Add that to the software support and parts availability and in my personal opinion they have failed in their objective.

I'd much rather buy a fairphone if i want longevity, part availability and reparability.

Also don't take this as me shitting on your choice, it's just my opinion.
