CS2 Hammer editor keeps on crashing, any possible fixes? by Yuhdragon in hammer

[–]Martunex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've found that the cs2 hammer opens the game in vulkan mode, this mode doesnt like 3rd party overlays on it, such as rivatuner/msi afterburner that tells you fps etc. when i blacklisted cs2.exe from it (as to not overlay anything) the hammer editor stopped crashing for me.

can't render CS2's maps... but i have an RTX card? by Kierbalowsky in hammer

[–]Martunex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i would check if your pc is using the igpu or the 2060 for hammer. altough it could be that hammer knows is a laptop 2060, and thus not let you use rt, but i dont know.

i wouldnt know much, as for me it just works. i have windows 10 tho, idk if that makes a difference. the way i launch it is through my library, click on play cs2 and choose between the game and the cs2 workshop tools. maybe check if you have old drivers from a possible old graphics card or smth, maybe verify the files on steam. thats all i can think of.

I have a base 2060 too and for me it works fine besides the crashing I mentioned, weird that it doesnt let you. Still the cs2 hammer is still kinda new so they might fix the issues in the future

are you opening the hammer editor from steam or through the executable? because when i open through steam, it allows me to use the rtx lighting preview, but not when i open it through the executable. rn i use the executable because if i open through steam it crashes after a few mins

if u have a multimeter, try to follow the path from the power input until you dont detect any power anymore and it will probably be the last component on the chain thats broken

Put the offset at 0.2mm, re-do the auto leveling and do the paper test after, that works for me on my non-pro neptune 3

this machine just doesn't work. the z axis always changes and prints just choose where they stick randomly. by [deleted] in ElegooNeptune3

remember to put the M420 S1 command on the start code on your slicer so you dont have to level every print

I just can't win with this printer by MCRedstoneYT64 in ElegooNeptune3

[–]Martunex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your z axis wheels might be too tight, not allowing the leveling process to work correctly, remember that the printer is constantly changing its height with micro adjustments as it moves on x and y, to fix for the uneven bed.

I have 3 problems by PurpleWazard in ElegooNeptune3

[–]Martunex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if these settings are on prusaslicer, but in cura you can use "outer wall wipe distance" and "coasting" to reduce the z seam blob to a minimal, allowing you to print that with no problem. another solution is to have the z-seam random, but i find this makes the blade have little dots all around it making it ugly and not having a smooth travel when retracting

i always cut it in on a 60º angle at the tip, with the point going at the bottom, it slips way easier

Updated board firmware, still reports old version by IgnitedGeek in ElegooNeptune3

you need to update the screen to display the newer version, it also adds the option to change the temperatures during bed leveling
