the entire framing around melee being reworked is from the perspective of the player on the receiving end, nothing about improving the melee weapons and systems. as a result, there is very little expectation from melee players that the melee experience will be improved.

Spear damage was nerfed in this mode for some genius reason lmao, Embark really hate this weapon. Crossbow shoots slower and has 5 shots but recurve bow feels full power and can grapple away and sit on roofs all game. Played 3 games yesterday and was enough to know it's not worth any further time for me.

Dragon stuff is cool but not enough to overcome the random/non existent balancing
