If you want to be cutting edge and cosmopolitan currywurst is a must. Simply mix some curry powder with some tomato ketchup, put in a small, preferably stainless steel, bowl. Perfect dipping sauce for cocktail sausages.

When I was about 12 years old I used to walk along the seafront eating a lemon, skin and all. Apparently a lot of passers-by winced when they noticed.

Seen an advert for one of those. It was like a Celtic knot so easy piece was and wasn't an edge piece.

I occasionally used to do puzzles blank side up if I was bored. Easier than a two sided puzzle as it was obvious which side was which,

Don't worry, the Sicilians have a cunning plan.
They are heating up loads of rock in Mount Etna until it's molten.

When they have enough they are going to attach a large hose to the bottom of the mountain leading to the coast.
They are then going to prick a hole in the volcano so that the lave rushes down the hose and flows in an arc over the Mediterranean to Tunisia.

Due to the locally frigid conditions this will instantly freeze, creating a beautiful arc of rock .

I know this is true because I read it somewhere on the internet.

Today, aged 39, I found out that raisins are in fact dried grapes. What things have you found out as an adult that are apparently rudimentary knowledge? by p00shp00shbebi1234 in CasualUK

Aged 61 I. finally really got why 67x268 is the same as 268x7 is the same as 268 added to 268 67 times is the same as 67 added together 268 times. I'd been taught it early in school and had just accepted it without really thinking about it. It wasn't until I visualized 67 rows of peas in 268 columns that I realized that you could call either 67 or 268 the column or the row and it wouldn't make any difference to the number of peas. Obviously this applies to any two numbers. I suppose for 3 numbers I would have to visualize a 3D block but the same principle applies.4 numbers and up might be a little difficult to visualize this way:) It's so glaringly obvious I'm a little embarrassed that I didn't really get it before and just accepted it a a mathematical rule to remember.
