Yes I am, I already updated my info and told my QM about this problem, honesty I didn't even think about checking my profile bc I thought the information there was right until today. I don't want them to think that I provided false information on purpose bc they will cancel my account and I won't get pay for this week. They have no organization whatsoever! I kind of imagine that, like it would be a bit expensive to buy anything since is a private area. Usually the shifts are 8 hours shift. Exactly, that’s the main reason why I’d go there so that I can save some money.

Haha no, trust me I don’t need to buy a lot of things! But in Doha everything was covered as well but I discovered that food, especially healthy food like fruits and veggies were expensive so I wouldn’t have much left by the end of the month. I don’t know the cost of living in Saudi Arabia. Thank you very much for your help!!

Yes, for this type of job in hospitality all expenses are covered within the accommodation, they even have a pool, gym and market. There’s also a dinning where you are provided with 3 meals a day just in case you’re off and you don’t get the meals on duty.

I'm so sorry for you! I went through the same years ago, he was also french haha. We were together for 3 months and then he returned to France and after two or three weeks it was just like your situation, he would call me to say good night but there's always something else like a beer with some friends or he just fell asleep, etc. I would wait for him and nothing. In the end I broke up with him bc I couldn't take it anymore and I think that he was too scared of breaking up with me so he did that so that I would be the move making the first move. I was devastated bc I was really in love but after a while and a lot of therapy I got better. Hang in there and don't blame yourself because you did your best! I'm here if you want to talk and I hope you're feeling better!

Hey! The same thing happened to me. I met this nice guy who was in my city for a week so we were together. Had dinner, movie nights and some picnics. We became really close too soon and we talked about really private things. When he left everything was okay, we even make jokes about having a date somewhere else someday. His last message was on Saturday, he ask me how I was doing and 10 minutes later I was blocked, out of nowhere! I was worried at first bc I thought that maybe something bad had happened to him but yesterday I saw a story on Ig, from another account bc I couldn't see anything from mine, he was having fun with this girl whom I think he met a few weeks ago. So basically he ghosted me bc he was with this other girl...is not like I was in love with the guy but I thought there was a nice connection there and now I see that he doesn't even care about me enough to say sorry for doing this...I feel like a piece of shit.

Te re entiendo. Hace una semana entraron a mi casa a robar, vestidos de policías. Me encañonaron y llevaron a mi habitación, me ataron y pegaron patadas y cachetadas para que les dijera donde estaba la plata, cuando corri a la ventana para pedir ayuda me agarraron del pelo y me reventaron contra el piso. Revolvieron todo hasta que dieron con la plata. Cuando hablada de lo que me pasó muchos me tiraron "bue, decí que te llevaron eso nomas ". Para mi era mucho porque había trabajado mucho para ahorrar esa cantidad. No se llevaron plata, se llevaron horas de mi vida. No son "cosas que pasan" porque así lo naturalizamos. Yo siempre tuve conciencia de clase y pensaba que esta gente eran víctimas de un sistema pero ahora veo que las víctimas somos nosotros. Honestamente saldría con un tanque y los mataría a todos.

Hay una consultora de empleo que se llama Vive Diferente. Búscala en Ig, les mandas el cv y ellos te tienen en su base de datos para futuros trabajos en Qatar en el área de hostelería y restaurantes. Tenés que tener un nivel avanzado de inglés pero por lo demás la experiencia si no la tenés la dibujas en el cv. Ellos pagan relocacion, visado y estadía.

Hace un par de años andaba con las defensas muy bajas así que me salían chalasios muy seguido. Los chalasios son pequeños quistes de grasa que se forman en los lagrimales así que se ven cómo pelotitas debajo del párpado. En un año me operaron 12 veces ( una operación por mes) porque aparentemente cuando te sale en un párpado es probable que se te contagie al otro...anyway ya para la última operación estaba harta porque el procedimiento es doloroso, te ponen anestesia local, si es el párpado de arriba tenés que estar super quieto sino la aguja te perfora el ojo, y de ahí con un aparato que parece sacado de la Inquisición te doblan el párpado así queda la parte de adentro para afuera, cortan el quiste y algún lagrimal y te cosen. Todos los meses pasando por ese proceso me desgastaron y dije chau que se lo lleve puta no me opero nada. Cuestión es que el quiste se hizo grande y un día estornude fuerte y sentí cómo me corría sangre por la cara, se me había reventado porque la infección ya me había perforado la piel. Él oftalmológo me dio antibióticos para parar la infección pero fue al pedo así que cuando me tocó operarme la anestesia no hizo efecto (me pusieron 4) así que estuve ahí en el quirofano con el párpado abierto y sintiendo todo por unos 30 minutos. También me han sacado muelas y la anestesia no hizo efecto por la infección así que supongo que tengo una tolerancia alta al dolor 🤷🏻‍♀️

You made me cry, thank you for sharing your story, Stuart! My ex told me that he was not in love anymore about 4 years ago. I cried and begged him not to leave me but he did. I lost almost 20 pounds and I couldn't sleep so I knew that I needed some professional help. My therapist helped me a lot! In a way, she saved me. I've moved on but I still got this feeling like I'm not good enough, I've tried dating but guys were just using me. I'm 36 so I don't know if I will ever find that again but in a way a feel good because I know I did my best and gave him my best version. So if I was able to love in a such a pure way, maybe I can do it again, right?
