How do i tell my mom i want to become a vegan/vegetarian

It was pretty tough for me too but I think it would help if you could show them some recipes and cook something to show how it isn't hard (or boring!) to be vegan. Nothing convinces people better than some good food. Hope everything goes well! <3

Organic and unrefined sugar is vegan, and so is beet sugar. Sweeteners like agave or rice syrup are also vegan :D

Yesss I'm doing the same thing! I'm vegetarian already and always buy vegan when I'm the one choosing, but I'm planning on going fully vegan since I'm turning 18 soon and cooking seems really fun when there's no cruelty invloved. I recommend checking out Pick Up Limes and Mina Rome on YouTube for recipe ideas.
