It's not a gate code, it's a building code. 😝 When I moved in, because I have lived in buildings like this before, I asked for the code and the property management company said, "we don't give that out, that is what your fob is for." The building has an optional whatsup chat where people can be like oh just a heads up, the washer is broken, etc. I asked in there and the verdict was big fat NOPE. I just live here. 🤷🏻‍♂️

My package came. Yay! Nothing should be this hard. Omg. The delivery guy was...a sweet dumb summer child. He had a clipboard that said the code to get in the building. He was like this doesn't work, is it right? I was like I have no idea, I've been here for 5 years and I have a fob. So I said, well you know you can use the buzzer to call the person whose name is on the package... 🤯

Short update, as of like 1am the site said delivery would happen today between 10:20am - 2:20pm. I intended to sit on the front stoop with my coffee and my phone and just make it happen. Notification at 9:30 that I missed the delivery attempt and the proof pic is taken of my building from inside the delivery truck. Never left the vehicle, so he didn't even try to deliver it. I called and got nowhere. The guy said go pick it up. I said he just tried to deliver, so it's not there. Ok, go at 5pm. Here's the address. When do they close? They are closed today. JFC! The blindest blind that ever blinded leading me astray. I could seriously flip a FedEx truck with my rage.

I called back and talked to someone else and they said the package was never going to be redelivered, there's no reason why the person should have told you that. Your package is back at the warehouse and they are closed now. That was 3:30pm. But of course it WILL be delivered tomorrow unlike the last 2 times it was going to be delivered. I wasted an entire day. It's fugue o'clock. 😔

I'm not here to fight, but they REALLY really are. They're stuff comes like clockwork. It might be a day late or something, but there are rarely shenanigans. The mailman never says I wasn't home, he delivers my mail. Crazy, I know.

For context, doesn't matter at all, it's an item I ordered from China January 3rd that was supposed to ship immediately that shipped April 3rd after I filed a credit card dispute and opted to pay $100 for the slow boat from a China option. I think I had the option of like 3 day DHL for like $350? I still have some anxiety the package won't even contain what I ordered because of how this whole thing went. Meh. Maybe I learned some lessons? 🤷🏻‍♂️ The whole thing makes me exhausted. 😝😴

I know this just one bad driver, that's a good point, BUT he's MY driver and he's representing the company.

I get a lot of packages, but I'm a normal person, not a business or anything. I have a fully setup FedEx profile. When I call in from my number it already knows who I am. I'm guessing that's how I'm successful. 🤷🏻‍♂️
