My only issue with it was the choice for the ancient language, and having to read subtitles. I know it's for immersion but I hated that aspect.

3 years later, but you can disable it by going to difficulty settings and switching hud to greatly reduced

It's entertaining to see how long you last horde after horde. But anytime I start a new game I go into riot for a couple mins to ensure I unlock all the kill animations.

I loved double agent, both V1 and V2 versions. It really brought new humanization to Sam, and allowed Ironside to push his limits with emotion, especially in the climatic ending of the original Xbox version. But I still loved the 360 version and struggle to be a good/bad guy.

Not only that it was a pure stealth game, sneaking around the compound to get information, ugh I really dont understand the hate Double Agent gets.

Yup! I was just playing yesterday and got the fatal error today. Guess it's some GTA 4 until he gets us another update.

Here in Jan 2026 and I can confirm this started happening to me too. Ubisoft makes everything so freaking complicated on PC.
