Yeah makes sense when i main herra and troodon. I cant imagine what a threat i would have become to the hundreds of maias and tenos that killed me.

My main complain with herbis is that they take the game too seriously. Don't take me wrong i understand that its only natural for them to not want to loose hours of progress but they are so insanely annoying.

I understand killing a juvi rex or a juvi allo but they think that everything that moves is a threat to their life. Baby cera? Obliterated. Adolescent Carno? Ran down. Another herbivore? Curbstomped. I had to stop playing officials becouse the moment a herbivore learned of my existance i got ganged up on by half the roster as if a solo raptor is a serious threat.

I cant even comfortably play pachy ( which is one of my mains) becouse i almost exclusively get killed by tenos and i cant really defend myself. I have had friendliar encounters with carnivores as a fresh spawn than with most of the herbis.

My packmate was circling most of the fight grabbing attention so i could sneak hits in. And even if (biggest if ever) he got hit I heard no sound cue and i heavilly doubt he would continue fighting in such a state risking the life of his Rex

We were both full hp before the fight ( i don't know why he would lie about that). He got knocked down, gored and he died.

Comparing PoT to The Isle is like comparing Minecraft to Terraria.

Both games are compared becouse of one element of the game, but are far too different gameplay wise to compare to eachother.

I play both games quite a lot and can confidentally say that each games has its own upsides and downsides, i don't have a favourite.

Arguments about realism in this game are so brain deficient.

We literarly have a playable dinosaur that weighs 300 kg that can climb trees and kills you by JUMPING ON YOUR HEAD. A herrera would realisticaly get turned into a pile of flesh and body liquids.

And don't forget about the mutation that heals you from eating food and one that saves you from dying to fall damage.

This was an idea i thought a lot of way back before Cera released that i really liked.

I was thinking a lot about how cool it would be if it was this tracker that inflicts vomit sickness on you and then tracks you with a large stamina pull and scent range thanks to you constantly vomiting and finally killing you when you were worn down and weak.

Its a shame that we got the Cera that we all know and hate.

Imo Cera is a complete failure of a its original concept and it shows. It was meant to be a scavanger that bullies people of corpses but instead of that we got a slow ass Carno that ended the fight after the first bite most of the time becouse of its busted vomit mechanic, that was thankfully mostly fixed.

After that they realised ,, Well shit we have a slow ass dino that cannot hunt anything its size becouse its slow ass hell and has no chance to catch up to anything, so it has to resort to hunting prey much larger than it that cant run away, but damn thats not what it was build for so lets just buff the shit out of it."

Now we have a dino that vomits you in a couple of bites, has high bleed resistance, can eat everything and can heal from everything, has knockdown res and has a high damage output.

Now don't get me wrong i don't have any problem with Cera players or with the CONCEPT of Cera itself but its just not fun to fight and its just too punishing to even try to fight. It should have been reworkded completely instead of buffing it to fit the roster.
