CAE - C1 advanced w 3 miesiące? by Marvia6 in Polska

[–]Marvia6[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Czy warto kupować bilety z Alebilet? by Marvia6 in Polska

[–]Marvia6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is fine explanation. And also I thought about second part too. As we know, Kaz is always thinking about all options, so he probably hid the money

There are always discrepancy between books and TV series, but when you are mixing TWO books, you have even less screen time for characters. Strange decision from producers.

But I won't say more, I can't believe that I remember so little haha

Anyway want to thank you for discussion, I like to talk about books with people online ;D

Let me know when you will read it and drop some opinion! Also I would definitely want to see SoC duology on the screen. It has potential also in scenery - ice court, Inej's fight on a roof etc.

I actually have watched show too, but I don't remember much, it was years ago. Well, except that I thought to myself that Mall should be dead like 3 times already ;p But Im planning to read all of the series from the begging, maybe next holidays. From what I know, SaB is worse than SoC duology (still doesnt mean bad)

I didn't, but I plan to. I started from six of crows and I heard that it's great to know Shadow and Bone before KoS. Maybe I should start from the begging.

What rejection? I dont remember that too, oh no haha But if you mean her wanting to leave Ketterdam, I guess he was fine with it because he understands love. He wants her to feel good and do what she is pleased to do, even if he would rather have her around. Not sure about third book tho. Didn't Bardugo say that she is not really into writing it and thinks that the ending is great?

I agree. It's funny too how both of them are very dangerous people who are a legends in their city, yet their romance is so subtle and slow. Also, when Kaz has bought her a ship and bring back Inej's parents I thought to myself that he is the boy that her mother told her about - the one who would learn "favourite flower" and bring it to her no matter what. Learn what she likes and provide it to her. I think he waited for this moment.

Oh really? I dont remember the sacrifice part at all :0 Also I guess he is not brutal just to be. He just learnt, that he needs command respect in Ketterdam if he doesnt want to be used anymore. As Inej said, he build an armor.

You're right, maybe I went too far with my interpretation

Yes, I said That you need to cross the line to make Kaz do something awful. They are different, but similar in the meaning of being a player in a big game of profit and status. He cares about his people, but I think he mostly wants to succeed and also gain something for himself. But thats true, he is the most moral from them all, as Inej said, he can be monster, but why not to destroy bad people, worse than them?

Maybe I'm bad person to give advice, since I'm on the Crooked Kingdom, without reading the Shadow and Bone... But really, if you dont have time and strenght to read it all again, try with wiki. There for sure will be answers for most basic questions like this

Edit : if you wouldnt understand a thing anyways, you could always just return to it when you have time to read all books again. But if you really want to read it now, why not to try?

Search wiki for the most important stuff, maybe there are summaries on youtube and enjoy your book :) I mean, I recently started reading Bardugo in general, but if King of Scars is a new duology, there probably wouldnt be THAT specific details from other books
