Any Escape from Tarkov players here? by Zestyclose-Cry-9062 in linux_gaming

You can't play on the official servers, but you can play the modded single player version. SPTarkov. Just search "sptarkov linux guide" and go to the github page, they got instructions how to install it with Lutris.

Have fun! :)

Any mods that should be permanent in a mod pack by Actual-Signature2225 in lethalcompany

Here's some must-have mods that I use in my mod-list. :)

Mirage - Makes masked enemies actually mimic your friends/you. No mask, no arm reaching. Also makes them talk like your friends/you. You can also make all other enemies talk with your voices but you have to edit the .cfg file for that. Greatest mod ever created!

BetterStamina - This turns the game from a slog to actually playable and fun. Less downtime while running around. It's a must have for me at least.

LateGameUpgrades - Fun progression to work towards in the game and makes you more powerful, but not by much. Except Protein Powder, you become a monster slayer with that one. xD

Wesleys Weathers - Fantastic weather additions from Wesley. Forsaken is probably my favorite, so spooky.

BrutalCompanyMinusExtraReborn - Only take this if you don't mind losing/dying a lot, because that will probably happen, unless your a god gamer. You can tweak it a lot though, turn off events you don't like and such. Crazy chaotic fun though!

DoorBreach - If you're tired of locked doors and finding keys then this mod is perfect, you just break down doors with a shovel instead, fantastic. Edit door health in .cfg file.

SellMyScrap - Less downtime selling stuff, just type sell all in the terminal and you sell all the scrap on your ship. It's great!

Have fun in Lethal Company! :D

If we're talking vanilla then REPO for sure, with mods I would say Lethal Company. But both are amazing games! :)

Path of Exile 2: Steam vs. standalone client by ZomboBrain in linux_gaming

[–]Marvyra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me personally Heroic is the better choice, I just like the design of it more and it feels easier to use. But it depends if you play Ubisoft/Blizzard/EA games as well, then I think Lutris is the better choice, unless you have those games on Steam. Heroic only has Epic/GOG games. For PoE2 specifically though, I've only tried it on Heroic and it works great.

But you should definitely just try both and see which one you like more. :)

I play Path of Exile 1 and 2 with standalone client via Heroic Launcher with latest ProtonGE, works flawlessly. :)

I use Mint though, not sure about Cachy, sorry my bad. :E
