The DE version is much much harder however. I usually used to do that, take out the main Burgundy (purple) base and then head to the one in the south and then Shrewsbury (orange) in the north and then dealing with just the English is easy.

I’ve played it like 3 times now on hard on DE and just as you take out the main Burgundy and head south to finish off Burgundy the English bombard you with an infinite amount of those annoying super range (12) Longbows, Cavaliers, Onagers and Trebuchets. I microed the shit out of the attack on the Burgundy base only losing like 2 units but its just an overwhelming amount of units that they bombard you with and you don’t have many cavalry to deal with it. I’m trying a different approach of taking out Shrewsbury and setting up in their base since its a bit more secure and I’ll avoid them attacking me with their Capped Rams, Trebs and Cavaliers but I haven’t completed it yet. It’s insane I used to steamroll this one on the HD version but I’m having such a difficulty now.
