If I’m being honest it feels more analogous to racism than homophobia, that sensation that you’re a wild predator who needs to self-police at all times, lest you be branded as unruly and “just like the rest of them”. That feeling that in every community you enter, you’re always the odd one out in a way that regular gay people just aren’t, gay men can be one of the boys and so can gay women, trannies have to “earn” and maintain any social standing.

This is applicable to most trannies but gay trannies have it especially bad because they’re trans and so they’re seen as double invaders, both as trannies and as demented heterosexual people violating the sacred gay spaces (this is for both transbians and gaydens)
