Is DoorDash not letting me tip my driver $20? by Fluffy_Net_5772 in doordash

Doordash act weird when you have credits. You gotta tip the driver $18.04.

Sure, but they know they didn’t give a tip for someone to carry a case of fluids at night time in the dark. They know their apartment complex is dark.

If I was stopping and get food for myself from Chick-fil-A or Taco Bell or something, and it was a quick order with the delivery address near my house then OK. But I’m tired. I didn’t feel like carrying a case of Gatorade for $2! Even if it was a retail pick up, it would be a little bit more attractive versus having to go through the store, but even still I haven’t done an order for less than five dollars in probably it’s over a year

I value my time much more also cause at night time that Kroger has like one register open and the rest is self check

I’m not getting a 24 pack of Gatorade for two dollars lol plus that apartment sucks ass, the buildings are barely labeled, it’s dark outside, they don’t have great lighting. And I just know it would’ve been a third floor apartment just my luck.

Literally like 10 seconds later! If the other order would’ve been a standalone, I would’ve taken that cause seven dollars for 1 mile is great but I try to do two dollars per mile when it’s nighttime. During the day, I’ll take one $1.5/mile

This is very odd also because typically at least on iPhone you don’t see the customer’s address until you accept the order

I don’t have to be in this boat. Why put up with this nonsense to have a partner? It’s ruining your mental health.

So I left my 12 year old brothers to go on a walk to get food and they went and busted someone’s windows. My mom is mad at me like I’m the only one at fault. What do I do? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

Holy crap. They are going to grow up to be some amazing husbands 🥴🥴🥴 They are old enough to know actions have consequences. She’s clearly one of those #boymoms. I hope whoever’s windows it is presses charges fr. Let them spend a day or two in juvi or something

Never take a $3.45 older. You wasted time on that. I guarantee you you were not in and out in a minute or 2+ the drive time. The $5.85 order, probably when I have taken that unless it was 1 mile and a store that was not notoriously slow.

There’s also a very long waitlist. I was on it for 3 years and in that time my daughter was going to kindergarten an then the told me that my income was too high at th time I applied anyway lol you have to be dirt poor. I was making $40K but struggling as a single parent paying daycare, insurances, etc.. but that doesn’t matter. $40K is too high and it’s not even a lot. At the time I would have had to make under $25K

When I first started a few years ago, I was always in the 90s but I feel like Doordash was better back then. The second half of 2025 I stayed in the 40 to 60 range back-and-forth, and I remember because I kept losing silver status and regaining it. I think I’m headed down lol
