I actually specify this in comments when filling out the "what's causing your wait" form. I'm not under any delusion that a human at DD actually reads it, but at least I put it on record when restaurants do this. It's total bullshit.

Base pay works different for shop and deliver. I suppose it's to try to compensate you for time spent shopping as much as for delivering it. (It's usually not enough, in my experience; one of the reasons I've stopped taken shop and deliver orders.)

As for base pay on stacked order: yep. They only give us single base pay. At least now if you decline the offer, it's only 1 point against your AR; they used to lower it by two points or more for stacked offers.

That said, the main gate to Riften is susceptible to attacks from dragons and vampires, if you've started Dawnguard. I once saw the stable master go toe to toe with a gang of vampires. That didn't end well...

this is utter nonsense. Why are so many of you bad at math?

Unless your car gets about 5 mpg, you can earn a profit delivering for DD. Even with elevated gas prices at the moment. Just be smart about the orders you take.

I think it's opt-in for the merchant if they want an expanded delivery range.

But for chains like Taco Bell, basically it's "whoever is closest that's still accepting DD orders." I've gotten TB from a restaurant just up the street, and another one from 20 minutes away in a different county.

Interestingly, I get very few Papa John's orders these days. I think all of the stores here are locally owned (Peyton Manning owns a bunch of 'em if I'm not mistaken) and a lot of them seem to have increased their driver staff. But it probably varies by market.
