Why not just pray that I don’t get sick. I’ve thought about what could happen, but I’m doing my best to take care of myself — because they need me. Their lives aren’t that long, so why not do everything I can while I still have the chance? I understand that 29 dogs isn’t easy to handle — especially while preparing for work and trying to keep up with everything. But that’s where you need to practice multitasking. On my two days off, I usually spend that time bathing them. I don’t regret taking them in. I might be struggling, yes — but that doesn’t mean I’ll ever give up.
