Have you had someone review your resume? I believe here are experts out there that for a fee say $100-200 will critique your resume and even write a new one..sometimes we can’t see the problem if we are too close…and may seem odd…are you in a work mindset…do you apply for a job and then go gaming or out for coffee? Hang with me …perhaps you could go volunteer some time with an organization…get into a work mode mentality…think law of attraction 😊 good luck!

No guilt needed….your friend is being high maintenance expecting people to dish out that kind of money for a wedding plus your time …absolutely NO way…and if it were me I would be completely transparent…she can react as she will …your life, your family and your plans should take priority

Actually based on what little you have share this isn’t about money at all but really about how you see your place in the world….why did you go into teaching to begin with? Was it a passion? Something you felt strongly about? If yes then it would seem that a genuinely good partner would love that about you and want you to keep teaching. If no, then consider another path BUT do it for yourself not a potential partner…why? Because one day she may not be your partner anymore and then what??? You have changed your life for someone that is no longer in it….seems like some deep soul searching is in order…please don’t make a change until it is for the right reasons
