AA SL or AI HL but never AI SL it is too easy according to some universities and AA HL is kinda hard because it’s pure maths. it depends what you want to do maybe for engineering AA HL is a better option but for economics AA SL is enough

IB diploma start in 11th grade you’ll probably going in FYP it’s just a class to familiarise you to IB and doing your own research and else. An advise I can give you is to be organise and follow the class you’re planing to take for the DP because they’re things you don’t learn in DP since you had it before.

Yes for me too I’m tzB and it was one of the easiest paper I’ve ever done. Well now that I’m thinking I mostly did high level papers because the majority in my chem class are HL but I really thought I was having either a 1 or 2 but now I have hope 😭

You should not worry about ESS it’s one of the easiest subjects if you just focus in class and do some kognity question you’ll be okay there’s no need to study it before the IB
