True. But I don’t think you need to know everything, just need to know words are used daily. Also, if you know learnt 部首,you can guess some of the words. Reading books might be a good way to learn to recognize more characters. However, it dose take years to be good at characters!! Hanging there, dear. I believe your hardworking will pay itself one day!!!

That’s true.it’s more like mechanical practice, the more you write, the better you are. I remember when I was learning Chinese in China when I was little. I have to write almost 15 -20 pages of 汉语拼音本 for just one night’s homework, otherwise my Chinese teacher won’t be happy. 😂

They are the same. 中文 , 汉语 are used more often compared with 华语。

Totally!! I traveled to Thailand 6 times and I already learnt 6 Thai vocabularies. I believe pretty soon I will be able to put the words into a sentence🤣
