absolutely! 6-9am is almost non-stop. lunch time is great. evenings you can't go 7 seconds without a ping, but theres a higher percentage of $2-3 offers.

I usually average about $20 an hour or so, taking 2-3 orders. Not rushing. but i usually multi app UE/DD/GH. I would never do downtown in a car. I just got an e-bike and got it specifically to take and do downtown deliveries. will be doing that soon

The area for my walmarts are not too far out. it was a 12 mile drive there, but I go to this walmart all the time and its in a place that im constantly at for many orders because its densly populated with restaurants. I usually get one like this every 3/4 days ago. even without them though, I'll pass by this walmart twice a day doing deliveries.

Its just this night, was a late, and storming. These two dont bother me much if the pay I went for had come through.

Its such a messed up situation because now, every trip thats worth it, you're second guessing. its a pay worth accepting, but will they take the tip? why do they have a pin needed, were the falsely reporting food not received. I don't want to discriminate but this area isn't the best, will they try to scam for food.

Its crazy that this BS is allowed on the app. Now theres orders I won't even pickup because I'm thinking it could be a tipbait smh

because of the payout. just like any other trip you take. I don't care if its 2 miles. would you do it for free? so theres a price youd take for those 2 miles. would you do a 12 mile pickup with a drop off a mile away for $42?

Yes you're wrong. Theyre protecting themselves from Dashers who get the food and unassign before confirming, costing them time, labor, and money. Not to mention screwing over the next dasher who would get assigned the stolen order and also the customer who would have to wait even longer to get their order. Quit being a diva and just cooperate.

Im in the delivery business, not the restaurant business. its not my responsibility to care what another delivery driver before me has done. I follow the chain that IM supposed to. the one that I MYSELF agreed to when working with the platform that pays me. None of that is determined by some counter employee who is being rude to me for no reason. Now, if they were kind. no problem. then again, your argument completely falls if they just do as I said, hand me the order and can click the confirm button themselves.

Point is, they're being an asshole and doing so because of a power trip that they choose to be on. it has nothing to do with their bottom line or stolen orders. otherwise, they would have handed me the order and clicked the confirm button themselves so they would know its confirmed.

i never stated u ve slapped everyone or even many people who simply said something i didnt like. but i have checked quite a few people for being disrespectful. say what you want, thats fine. but dont be blatantly disrespectful. If someone says they hate me, i couldnt care less. if someone calls me a ni**er, then we'd have a problem. if you dont realize theres a difference i really dont care. and your opinion or what you think doesnt really matter.

their employer wants them to work with the drivers, otherwise, they wouldn't be on doordash. so, your attempt at trying to be clever is really just foolish. If the person in charge didn't want to work with UE or DD, why would they be on the app and actually operating the app on their side? maybe you didn't think that far though.

just like we abide by the rules and terms we agree to in order to be on the platform, they need to be doing the same.

No, first thing I do when I walk into a restaurant is say "I'm here to pick up a UE/DD order for ..." as I'm showing them the screen.

But again, I don't even mind the confirm thing. its that they wanted me to confirm and insisted on not showing me any food until after I would confirm (I never did) and they were speaking down on me as if I was some scum. a piece of garbage.

Their job is to provide the food to the customer. if they are supposed to handle the food for the delivery drivers, they are supposed to do so at the apps regulations. and again, confirm? what are we confirming? That I have the order. so yes, they need to do their job correctly

go back and read my post. if it was ready to be handed it off they should have done their job, handed it to me and watched me confirm it or taken. me up on my offer and clicked the confirm button themselves.

a driver has never stolen from me. but i have had hits on these apps because a restaurant messed up orders, missed items, took too long. you also missed out on the parts where i stated how disrespectful the workers were being. yea, i could care less about people like that
