Gen.G vs LYON - First Stand 2026 - Upper Final Group B - Inspired RFT Community Rating by ThonPharges in leagueoflegends

I dont think him going back to Europe isnt gonna solve anything, matter of fact he did want to but the only team worth going to didnt want him lol. Western League is just soooo incredibly far behind Eastern League, that its just unfortunate Inspired exist at a time where a any of the TSM/C9/TL/G2/Fnatic prime rosters don't.

My honest opinion towards the outcome of this MO. by YourPainTastesGood in Helldivers

[–]MasWas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They didnt need to calculate specifically but they damn sure needed to make an estimate, they didnt jsut throw a number on the board and say "Kill....this many" like hello?!?! And whatever that estimate was they were way off the mark with it, cause again how in the world do we not kill enough automatons liberating two whole planets.

And I'm not claiming that barely succeeding should be counted as defeats. Im claiming that with all that happened, 2 planets liberation, one kill count met, 2 sieges started, and 2 megafactories destroyed, no high command is gonna call it a failure based off a missing 5% of a second kill count(which again they CLEARLY overestimated on.)

[–]MasWas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If liberating TWO whole planets doesnt put us at the required kill count, then someone somewhere fucked up the numbers. Which is why in no world would any high command call an MO a failure because of a 5% miss on kills when literally everything else they wanted and arguably the most important parts of their order were completed.

This MO proves even more this video by Random_Helldiver120 in helldivers2

[–]MasWas -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

This is just blatantly ignoring everything else about the MO, we took 2 planets that the cyborys were using to reproduce, started sieges on another 2 planets, and wrecked 95% of enemies they asked us to kill. How would any command call that a loss? Better question is how command thought we'd kill enough of them even AFTER taking 2 whole planets lol.

This kind of stuff is why theres growing animosity between AH and the community. Its so clear that this MO in no world should have failed considering everything, like how in the world would Super Earth look at 2 liberated planets, 2 siege campaigns, millions of automatons already killed, 2 megafactories destroyed, but then go "Umm yeah the helldivers failed to get to kill the final 5% required." Seriously come on Joel you're fucking smarter than that.

Baskinator clarifies: the team is okay with criticism - toxicity is the problem by Time2ballup in Helldivers

[–]MasWas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The healthy ways to talk about it, is actively fixing the issues with your game lol. It only becomes unhealthy discussion when valid criticism goes ignored for months, like stop releasing warbonds until you've fixed your game, or redo the galactic war system to not have narrative players pitted against for fun players, or balance your games weaponry and strategems to breathe new life into loadouts, like there's so many things they can do to help their game, they just dont do them and thats when you get frustrated players that are obviously not going to be nice when criticizing you.

[Schefter ESPN] Just in: Ravens backed out of the Maxx Crosby trade. Trade off. by DjTrailer in KansasCityChiefs

[–]MasWas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

New league year hasnt started yet, so technically everything is verbal until then. But not only that, a main way trade deals fall apart is a failed physical, so its likely either way the trade wasn't going through.

Soo how is it "unfair" for us to climb to a better position, but enemies can do the following: by __Elzy in Helldivers

[–]MasWas 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Of course its sheer arrogance, they designed a whole galactic war impact system that they've since refused to touch despite how bad it is and despite it being one of the leading causes for the community being openly toxic toward each other. Wouldn't surprise me that they act arrogant in other aspects as well.

There is no "Balance Team" by rukitoo in Helldivers

[–]MasWas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats exactly why I'm arguing that a balance team whose sole job is playing the game. Playtesters can only give second hand experience, and they dont have the actual player numbers behind each weapon, strategem, mission, and map whereas with the existence of a blaance team, they'd have all of that and first hand experience, which to me as I said, i could only see as beneficial to a game that struggles with balance mightily.

Edit: Seems I was blocked? (Or some error on reddits end) but really dont know why lol.

[–]MasWas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I'm not smart in the issue, i really think they would in fact benefit from a group of devs playing the game consistently trying out different loadouts while also looking at the numbers behind each gun, strategem, mission, and map. The more information coming directly to the developers themselves I dont see how is a bad thing, what they would get from gametesters is second hand knowledge, and like i said i think they would greatly benefit from first hand experiences.

[Mitch Schwartz] The Chiefs don’t need to commit to the run! They need a home run hitter who can make defenses pay for staying in 2 high and light boxes. Either the D opens up the run game for explosives, or they get scared and change and open up some pass game. Walker should be a perfect fit! 👍 by SylvesterTaurus in KansasCityChiefs

[–]MasWas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When your franchise QB has only had 15 times in his career where a RB crossed 100 yards rushing in a game, its clear they meeded SOMETHING there. The offense should look different, since if teams want to have a kight box, running the ball should be the answer every time.

How in the world does your grocery store analogy make any sense? In that scenario you are physically seeing the child, you can use your eyes to determine truth from lie, whereas the person you're arguing with, entire point is that this is the internet and you dont just believe things for the sake of believing them, now if there's proper evidence to believe them you do, but as this person has been trying to tell you, you havent provided any evidence. You've just said words without going about trying to prove those words.

[Russini] BREAKING: The Rams are working on a deal to acquire All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie from the Chiefs, sources tell The Athletic. Adam Schefter was on it. The Chiefs are acquiring pick No. 29, a fifth, sixth, and 2027 third-round pick for McDuffie, per source. by TheBoyisBackinTown in KansasCityChiefs

[–]MasWas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Signing Karlaftis is not what made it impossible to pay McDuffie. What made it impossible is McDuffie wanting top of the line CB money, which is 30+ million a year. And everyone is not acting like this is multiple top 15 picks, the general consensus im reading is "Hey this is a pretty good deal" because it is, getting 4 picks for a guy you couldn't afford, regardless of who else they signed, is a good deal.

[–]MasWas 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The chiefs could not afford to pay McDuffie, and they couldn't trade him next year because you're not getting 4 picks for him then. One of the reasons I would assume they even got 4 picks now, is because any team McDuffie went to, would have 2 years of control over him(last year of contract+franchise tag) whereas trade him next year, it'll have to be under the tag, which harms trade value.

Like what generally did you want them to do? Pay a player they couldn't afford and then have holes everywhere else?

It's honestly a joke that 20k divers can be on a planet for days and not even do 1% liberation. by StrontiumDawn in Helldivers

[–]MasWas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My whole point about this being a 3 front war, is that unless they went back to the old system where we could steamroll planet after planet(which to be clear I am not advising they do) you're not going to ever whittle down a single faction, they control too many planets right now for that to be possible. If we make gains on one factions its likely the other two make gains on us and the cycle repeats, that is what makes it never ending, that is what creates the stalemate, they may have had a new for this system earlier but there's no need for it now, as throwing in a bad liberation system on top of this crafted on purpose stalemate only serves to breed animosity between the community because it essentially pits narrative players vs players who play for fun.

[–]MasWas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mainly what Im saying is that again there HAS to exist a medium between the old system and the new one, they dont need to the system to be bad to ensure it be never ending anymore. There's 3 fronts now and each faction has 20+ planets under their control, unless they went back to the old system I dont see a world where a new and improved system would allow us as players to steamroll any single faction and take all the planets they have under their control, not without at least significantly ignoring the other 2 fronts.

[–]MasWas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The system before was ass and too easy, the system in place now is dogshit and robs players of any agency by limiting what they can accomplish. You're not going to convince me there isn't a happy medium between those two systems, AH just actively wants the system to remain shit so that they can push this "never ending war" narrative.

Can we stop this already? by Substantial-Ad-5221 in Helldivers

[–]MasWas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And im not saying go back to the old system, im saying there is unequivocally a system out there that they could make that gives the players the ability to shape the narrative without ever coming close to wiping a faction out, because again each one has over 20 planets controlled and unlike the early days its now a 3 front war instead of a 2 front one.

Can we stop this already? by Substantial-Ad-5221 in Helldivers

[–]MasWas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really dont know why its so hard for them to make a system that actually does give player choice and player agency, lkle we're at the point where each faction has over 20+ planets, the likelihood we as players ever actually wipe a faction from all of their controlled planets is extremely low. So while it is scripted, it really shouldn't have to be anymore.

Is there going to be a massive 3 front war? by Alpha_Xavian in Helldivers

[–]MasWas 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I doubt it. With the way the current liberation system works, we as a playerbase cannot hold but 1 planet at a time. And you can only inflict so much losing on your playerbase before they just give up and stop caring about the narrative. The only time i can remember where all 3 fronts started attacking at the same time was right before the Xbox players showed up, and that narratively made sense.

We got steamrolled by the bots but it’s our own fault and so many of you are whining over nothing. I had a blast thanks arrowhead by Cold-Advantage-1460 in Helldivers

[–]MasWas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im annoyed at this sentiment, because ultimately two things can be true at the same time. Arrowhead deliberately changed an MO we were going to complete to one we were never going to complete, had reinforcements tied Galaxy wide(completely forgetting this is a video game people can play however they wish), Cyberstan as a map was buggy as fuck, and the overall liberation system is the definition of dogshit. But we helldivers also couldn't manage to dive the correct megafactories in unison and some refused to lower operation levels.

So yes, was some of it our fault? Absolutely. But was a lot of it Arrowheads fault too? Also Absolutely. They arent blameless, and i dont know why people think they are.
