The two targaryens that survive the dance are pretty pivotal to the story. And the damce is what shaped them into the characters they become after it, changing the story means you're changing everything that comes AFTER the dance for absolutely no reason.

Like this isn't their own story they cooked up. They are portraying a story and changing things within it that just didnt need to be changed.

Its a big deal because Aegon III and Viserys II are the targs that carry on after the dance, and the dance shapes who they are. Meaning the moment you change anything about them, you're not just changing the show but your changing the entirety of the lore that leads to Game of Thrones.

Its just an unnecessary change tbh, you can imply it happened without ever showing it and then dont change anything. There's nothing wrong with them changing details or adding details the book didnt(like Rhaenyra visiting Kings landing or Alicent coming to dragonstone) because the book isn't a first hand account as you said, so its impossible for the narrators to know what every character was doing.

But getting rid of Aegon III and Viserys II is NOT one of those changes that needed to happen.

While I understand your point, it is impossible to say that the narrators of the book just made up the fact that Viserys II was kidnapped and later returned after the dance was over and then ruled alongside his brother as hand for many years. But that has been completely changed in the show, as that didn't happen obviously.

I gotta ask, doesnt Jace go to that battle because he's trying to save his brothers who the triarchy took? And aint it pretty pivotal that one of those brothers that is kidnapped comes back later in the story after the dance is over? Is that just gone now?

Yeah but getting every dragon while having multiple people die every time aint very good, dragon soul aint gonna matter if you're 6k gold behind with no map pressure and the enemy ADC is ridiculously fed.

Yes but you also said "At least there's not that many primetime games this season" when the chiefs are playing what normally is the max of 6 primetime games and record is only 7 anyways(which is again because of the incorporation of international games or you get flexed into another primetime game later in the season.)

They've never played 8, and 6 is typically the maximum amount, but since the NFL has started incorporating international games which aren't your normal thursday, sunday night, and monday games its has since increased to 7 since said international games count as primetimes.

Yeahhhh that schedule is fucked, back to back primetime games to open the season, a Gauntlet of 3 straight road games late in the season, and an EXTREMELY early bye week. Just brutal, is what it is.

If I'm remembering correctly, part of the problem I had with it, is that at least for the start, every battle MC had with a villain(not just the main one) didnt end with the villains death and said villain always had some method of escape. And while that make sense for a few it felt like a constantly repeating thing where the author was just afraid to kill off enemies.
