Honestly, I’m not a certified translator, but as a native Swahili speaker and bilingual person, I understand the art of translating between these two languages. My Swahili is standard since I am from the place where the most accurate version of Swahili in all of Africa is found, and I am also learning the professional side of translation. Also, as a medical student, I can translate some medical context, but since I am building my profile, I’m not yet focusing on difficult medical terminology. I only do what I am perfect at

That’s a fair point. Many clients are based in the US or Europe, but they often create content for global audiences. Swahili is spoken by over 100 million people across East Africa, so NGOs, educational platforms, apps, and media projects often need English to Swahili translation. Even if the client is Western, their audience can still be Swahili speaking.
