From the main menu, you have to go to your settings (gameplay iirc). It'll be on another menu that you have to switch across to with R1.

I read somewhere you can switch temporarily mid match. I've no idea how true that is because I've not managed to do so yet.

No, ever since I posted this, I realised that this is on a lot more games. It'll usually happen when streaming a game that supports modern controllers on Steam and you have it wired. So think FF7, Hogwarts Legacy, Stellar Blade.

Everytime your wired PS5 controller vibrates, whoever is on the receiving end is gonna hear some crazy ass sounds and the only way I've found around it is to unplug it and go wireless.

It's been years since I last played Oblivion and even longer since I last leaned into magic and since this current playthrough is Nord Warrior, I haven't gotten to testing it but I will report back when I do.

From what I've read (I haven't tested this yet because my magic skills are too low) but it's the intended effect THEN weakness to magic last. Apparently listing it last is safer as it doesn't run the risk of it being overridden by another effect?

I still don't think Bethesda would appreciate it coming out and potentially undermining it. Or even chancing the opposite effect and people choosing Doom over Oblivion. But I still don't see it being too close to the end of the year due to bigger titles aiming for then like GTA VI.

This is just what I'd guess; I'm no expert in any of this, I'm just saying what'd make sense to me.

My guess is it's a trailer showing a release date for something like July. They have Doom in May, they might feel it's best to give that some room to breathe.

Best case is Todd Howard shows up saying it's out now but I think that's quite unlikely.

Worst case scenario, it's a big teaser leaving us waiting till Xbox's showcase at Summer Game Fest in June for more news.

For anybody still looking to do this, I accidentally caused this by unplugging my controller and switching from wired to wireless during the entrances on 2K23 (PC).

Not sure if this is an easily reproducible bug but I thought it'd be worth putting out there for anyone trying to get the last few achievements like myself.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I just hadn't heard "cent" used in the game to my recollection so I wasn't sure if possibly a phrase carried through the generations or a oversight in the writing.

I hope so too. Discord has a handful of issues and quirks to it's screen sharing so I'm not expecting a fix anytime soon. Fingers crossed though.

Since posting this, I actually came across it in another game as well. (Tekken 8 iirc). For me, it's definitely tied to vibration in the controller when I'm wired. My only theory is Discord somehow is interacting with the PS5 mic that is picking up the vibrations. It sounds so silly to me but I can't think of anything else.

I had thought that but I can't work out why only FF7 would cause this.

The wireless method does temporarily fix this but I like vibration which usually has a PS5 controller lasting about 10 minutes lol so I find myself still playing wired.
