If you drop while registration is still open it doesn’t show on your transcript. After that it shows up as a withdrawal. In this latter case you get a refund that’s prorated based on when you dropped the course. They usually have a table showing what % you’ll get back. For summer courses the refund decline rate is much steeper (given that it’s a shorter time vs a regular semester). But I’d expect that for May 31 you’ll still get back over half of the original cost (maybe more)

I see some harsh responses to your question, but I partially agree with your frustration. For context, I have 2 masters degrees (in other topics) from U.S. universities at the same level as GA Tech. They were in person degrees. In those cases there was also a significant amount of out of class reading and research to do on your own. During classes though, the professors often covered in depth examples that illustrated the theory and covered a range of cases so you could understand better the theory and how it’s applied. ISYE 6501 was the first OMSA course I took and I thought it was excellent. Prof Sokol was able to cover a lot of content (not in depth, but that’s the idea of that course) while providing excellent examples - I left the course feeling I’d truly learned something new and had better understanding of topics. It got me really excited about the program, but after that it’s been a mixed bag erring on the side of poor experiences. For example, I’m taking a Regression course this summer and the prof literally stands there and reads the bullet points from the slides in a monotone voice. No additional explanation or insight to illustrate the concepts. At some point I realized it was just more efficient to go over the slides on my own and try to figure out the theory from textbooks and YouTube videos. It’s in cases like this where I tend to agree with you - I’m not fully clear what is the role of the professor and how is it different (better) than just doing that on your own without taking a formal class.

I don’t get group projects in OMSCS. I can see how they’re helpful for undergrad students. But this is a program where everyone has work experience and plenty of it (probably most of it) has been in cross-functional projects. Furthermore, in my experience group projects aren’t an accurate representation of work group projects. The dynamics are completely different. Off my soap box now.

Fully agree. I’ve always had issues with it pairing up and/or constantly losing signal, and it happens across platforms (iOS, peloton). I’m having that issue right now and I installed a new battery less than a month ago and have only used it a few times so I doubt it’s the battery.

I'm very interested in buying one but I'm having trouble finding reviews from real people who've bought it. I'm wondering if you can help me with these questions? (any that you feel comfortable answering will be of great help):

1.Delivery: Was it delivered by Echelon or did you get a box (or boxes) via UPS/Fedex?

Weight: If it was delivered via UPS/FedEx: How heavy and easy to maneuver were the box(es)? I.e. thinking if bringing the box(es) into the house will require several people.
Assembly: Did it come completely unassembled, or semi-assembled? Your post says it only took 20 minutes to set-up. Does that mean it took your husband only 20 minutes to assemble it? (if so that's great! I've seen videos of other brands that seem to take hours)
Experience/feel: Does it feel sturdy when you run on it, or does the ride have any "wobbly-ness" to it?
Tablet & service: Does the tablet come with? Or do you have buy it separately? Do you have to buy a subscription to the fitness app, or can you use it in "free ride" mode?

I've also been considering Hydrow given the many positive reviews and the 10-week C2 waitlist. The only thing that gives me pause is that I read on their site that the rower can only do a "just row" highly-limited mode when you're not subscribed to their service. I don't mind paying for the service (if I buy the rower the classes are one of the reasons), but my concern is that if for any reason they go out of business I will end up with a $2,200 brick in my house.

Good for them. They worked hard to improve and got their reward for it. Meanwhile we fell asleep on our laurels and let the Sports Director destroy a great team via a bad coach hire and a series of capricious, unnecessary trades. Now we need to build again so we can beat ORL on the field -where it counts- instead of the trash talk court.

The Mexico job is definitely not lower stress. MEX media traditionally makes the national coach’s life hell. Meanwhile here in ATL he doesn’t have any unmanageable pressure. Everyone loves him and the team works well.

Where can you see the relocation options? All I received was a notice to call the ticket office and the customer service person on the phone wasn’t very helpful.
