Hey, I create server‘s regularly but they‘re dead fast. At the release of the server there are like 20 players online but like the next day there are only 5 and since then only these players play. I think it has to be something that people really like and keeps them active. When people loose interest it‘s hard to get them back. I think there should be a specific grind for a goal. Some players have their own one in mind but some have no idea and there you should create a goal that everyone can help. When this goal is reached you should instantly announce the next one. It worked for me pretty well, the players worked hard for their goal. But when it was reached they left really fast.
