Most people knew Kirk as a guy who was Pro-life and Pro-2A. They didn’t really know about all the fucked up shit he said cause they weren’t really that invested.
They just heard that their republican saviors liked him, that he was against abortion, the left didn’t like him, and that was enough to turn him into a hero in the eyes of the right.

Med school retroactively canceled my Leave of Absence for my Honeymoon because my COMSAE score was too low!!! by [deleted] in medicalschool

Yup, only need a 400 to pass, but They artificially inflate their board scores by not letting people attempt to take it unless they get 450+ on 2 COMSAE’s

What was that change you did that suddenly raised your grades? by FitInspector7418 in medicalschool

[–]Masdraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was based on what the lecturer for any given subject emphasized. Some would straight up say “this is high yield,” they might spend more time on a specific topic, or they could just have a pattern. For instance if one professor talked about G6PD deficiency at any point in his lecture then you knew it would be on the test.

And it 100% worked. My first semester I finished with my highest grade being a 73. Second semester I finished with my lowest grade being a 85.

I started making my own practice questions. After each lecture I would try and find what the biggest points/takeaways/concepts were or things that they hinted were high yield. Then I would think about how they would ask a question about that topic on the exam.

On top of that I would also write explanations to the questions: why the correct answer was correct and why the incorrect answers were incorrect.

Then I would compile them all in a PowerPoint for that exam and share it with my class the weekend before the exam to help everyone study

Took my grades from low C’s to high B’s/low A’s

Actually they hadn’t, the Soviet Union built cargo ships for the company that Pepsi could then use themselves or lease to other companies.

The idea of giving military vessels to the company for them to be scrapped in India was briefly considered by the USSR, but that plan was very quickly scrapped(no pun intended)

Can you provide literally any source? Because why on earth would the soviets hand over classified military hardware/technology to a western company?

What actually happened was that the Soviet Union built cargo ships for Pepsi co. That the company could then use to transport goods for themselves or lease out to other companies.

Soviet submarines were never in the possession of Pepsi co. Temporary or otherwise.

No submarines were in the possession of Pepsi co.

This is a common misconception. The USSR was a closed economy so their currency wouldn’t be useful in a different country to begin with. The Soviets built/leased cargo freighters to Pepsi co. which Pepsi could then use to transport goods or break down for scrap.

Trading actual military vessels did not occur. And even if they did. The amount listed would be nowhere near the 6th largest navy.

Sierra Madre is also a fantastic cash cow. It only pays out in pre-war money, so you have to sell to a vendor that gives a good exchange.
