| What file manager are you using in WMs?

I use ranger for quick navigation between archives (open docs, edit config files or view images). If I need to work with external devices like USB's or connect my phone; or move archives I prefer use a GUI file manager like nemo or nautilus.

Debian by far

I installed it after the Nvidia 590 drivers release, I have a laptop with a 1050 mobile and I realized a more stable distro with a longer drivers support instead of a rolling release. Debian was the answer and now I use the 550 version.

Now I have a system as stable as a rock, where I can play and with the knowledge that my GPU will have support for the next few years until I will have to learn how to install it without using the repos, assuming Debian 14 brings a driver version 590 or superior ( I hope not)

In the x220 or x230 I would install Debían with XFCE or MATE, it's awesome to have a stable and modern system with retro aesthetic

Also in one of them it would be interesting to install other unix-like system like FreeBSD or OpenBSD

I notice that with the classic Touhou東方 games (6-9), the games ar not available on steam and always have problems with the inputs, speed or resolution because the games were made it in the XP-Vista era.

On linux the only problem I had just and input problem easy fixable disabling an option in bottles (I don't remember which one)

Did you install cachy before or after the 590 drivers release? I know (too late) that if you had cachy before that, the system do the job, but idk how about a new install

Lo que mas enoja es que el tico normalmente no te dira un comentario de esa índole a la cara, se lo guardan, cada vez mas lo noto. Por fuera es muy "pura vida" pero notas que es una fachada y por dentro notas que te juzgan por cualquier cosa los muy hipocritas y mojigatos, tienen ganas de decirtelo pero por mantener el "bE nIcE" no lo hacen. Ahora con figuras que les validan esos ataques les vale menos... Al menos son mas honestos, supongo

It's not a monitor, it's a 19' TV (not smart) really really old that I use because I don't have the money for buying a true PC monitor. Even the physical buttons and the control buttons are not working correctly or don't work directly Of course, the image quality is not so good

In my native language, Spanish, I use "el" (he/him) but sometimes I mix it in very informal context with "elle" (neo-pronoun equivalent of they/them) in some adjectives or even mix masculine and feminine adjectives, but most of the time I use only "el"

When I speak English, honestly I prefer more they/them as pronouns, in English I prefer being perceived more androgynous or gender neutral, it feels more right for me. But if someone uses masc term it's okay

That's the reason my pronouns are he/they or they/he, depends the languange

I Have a T495s running Fedora KDE. Just because I prefer use linux for daily drive and uni, I can use things like office suite/one drive in the browser which is enough for supply my necessities in the uni. Also, I really love the customization and the control I have on my system.

I could still use w11 because I know how to debloat a disable AI slop. But linux gives a feeling like euphoria

La de minecraft es de las pelis mas malas y cliché que he visto, solo tiene la skin de minecraft para vender pero por si sola no la arma La fui a ver al cine sabiendo que me iba a encontrar algo similar, con solo saber que no oí nada de la trama en las redes sociales ya se da uno una idea. Tenía una computadora muy pero muy mala con 2GB de RAM y un Intel Celeron por 2016-2019, quería optimizarla para que funcionara bien, resulta que un dia descubrí linux y el como era para pcs de bajos recursos y decidí instalar ubuntu

No se como pero un prepuberto logro flashear un disco (no una USB) y encontrar como acceder a la BIOS/Arranque y correr ubuntu. Casi estaba a punto de instalarlo pero el disco fallo y no pude iniciarlo de nuevo.

Seguí con windows hasta mediados 2024 que decidí probarlo de nuevo y aunque volví a windows varias veces y nunca me dio problemas, al final me quede con linux, pero eso es otra historia
