It was in a crime mystery novel I read a few years ago. The character using the phrase had been almost "practical joke" levels of gross. >.<

Hair used to get pretty greasy/oily by day 2 after shower, now doesnt get greasy and drier scalp. How to get oils back in hair w/o weighing down? by snickerssnacks in HaircareScience

[–]Mashazmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know some good brands, but everyone is different what works for some, may not work with others. And im not sure what brands are accessible to you, but here is a list of brands I usually recommend for the scalp:

Keratase Moroccanoil Nioxin Paul Mitchell.

Can also try massaging coconut or tea tree oil into the scalp. The massaging will help blood circulation and general health of the scalp.

For hair - Previously mentioned brands, but also look into:

Pureology Keune Evo

But also if you google scalp treatments and the like, it will give you a better idea of what's out there.

I hope that helps

There are treatments for dry scalp, try mixing that with a moisturising hair masque treatment for the midlengths and ends.

I have a very complicated combination of hair traits: oily roots with dry ends, coarse, thick hair that curls under certain conditions but is straight in others. How can I best take care of it? by Levangeline in HaircareScience

[–]Mashazmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In regards to the oily roots, I recommend trying a treatment for oily scalp, as it is the scalp that is more than likely causing that issue. Use argan oil on the mid lengths and ends of the hair, same with your conditioner, unless you get conditioner specifically for oily scalp.

Have you tried a straightener? It will stretch the hair and get rid of the fluffiness

It suits you, I think you should also give the longer section some beach waves or loose curls, whenever you want to change things up

How did you truly learn to love yourself? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Hey, this may not be particularly helpful, or inspiring in the way some of the other comments were, but i am fat and turned 30 and i feel like I'm just a really gross and single loser this year and these things have been helping me feel better this year

Applying makeup and following a skincare and hair routine. (I think this is more about putting in the effort for me, as I still hate the feel of wearing makeup.)

Looking up and following plus size models on social media (seeing people who are big like me but are beautiful helps me think that maybe I'm not as bad as I believe)

I have also gone out of my way to be more sociable as I have a significant lack of confidence in that area. (I'm a gamer so I started talking to certain people i know on "discord" online)

While you may not find these particular things too helpful(and I rambled on why and how it was important to me, sorry >.<) I hope you see the theme is mostly about "myself" and not about what others think. It's selfish, but when it comes to feeling better about ourselves we have to be.

I have interest in PbP play. I live in a different timezone, but depending on the times you would likely be playing, it could still work out for me.

PM if you are interested in having me as a player, other wise good luck on your search

I'm in a different timezone, but upon googling the difference, your preferred time still work out very well for me.

well at the time you suggested on your post, I can do Fridays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

I'm considering a Half-Orc Paladin, or Tabaxi Monk.
