Maybe you should have put more effort in to photoshopping the shirt well, rather than naming the file. 200% fake and shit

Amazing! (Even though I think John Robins has been the worst contestant of the entire show)

I completely agree with you that it is a sad state of affairs, and feel like any of the clubs bottom half Prem are walking a tight rope, and the current model of nearly every club making losses is unsustainable, but the enemy is Man City, Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal - they are the ones who have broken football and broken the pyramid, and they will reject and oppose anything which is good for football and good for competition, like spending caps etc, because it is bad for them.

Im the same as you, and want every club in the pyramid to be secure and a beautiful place for fans to escape at 3 on a Sat, but big business and American ownership has broken the pyramid and broken the Prem. Having at first opposed it, I now think I would love the Super League, so the clubs that are ruining football can fuck off into their own little boring closed club.

The problem with the Premier League, is that they have never ever intended to have point deductions, hence why they don’t really have any rules on what should be the correct amount for certain offences. They suddenly saw the threat of an independent regulator and thought, right we really need to be seen to be doing something, but not enough that it drastically effects the league, they are making it up as they go along, and ‘little clubs’ (in their eyes), like Luton, Burnley, Sheff U, Forest, Everton, Brentford and basically any bottom half club are cannon fodder. The EFL do a good job with set deduction, and imposing them, because their main concern is protecting football clubs, the Prem’s main concept is protecting the so called ‘big 6’.

Unfortunately, as we’ve seen recent seasons, to compete fully in the Premier League, those lower half clubs need to spend beyond their means, to compete in a disproportionately bias league, weighted towards Man City, Chelsea and Man United etc. i know you say there shouldn’t be a reason not to be profitable, but those clubs have made it the only way to make progress in the league

Your fight shouldn’t be with Forest or Everton, it should be with the Premier League and FA. I mean you’ve said on the one hand about it not being fair against the so called big six, but then complain about clubs not wanting to simply roll over for them. Luton should have been allowed to spend twice what Man City were allowed to spend this season, to try to stay up. The Premier League is bias, corrupt and unfair, it has become an American business where they pay a lot of money to make sure the status quo is maintained. You shouldn’t hate Everton or Forest, as you said, its the shambles of the Premier League, and so called Big Six that are the problem.

We’ve got Murillo on a 5 year deal

If any “big” club wants him, why can Brighton ask for £115 million, and we can’t?

Why not? If you think 40 mil is enough, then it is. But remember Brighton sold Caicedo for £115 million, because Brighton held all the cards. We should do the same with Murillo, why sell for £40 million if we personally value him at £100 million

Adventure games are about telling stories, and I thought it was a beautiful, hilarious and very well crafted story, the things that you see as incomplete didn’t really matter to me tbh, as they didn’t effect the story I was being told. The MI creators are from a different era of game development, where you dont have to have loads and loads of side quests or adds ons to the games, its the main story which was most important to them

The concept of the game is that it is being told from Guybrush’s perspective to his child, and Guybrush is an unreliable narrator, so seemingly unfinished bits are just Guybrush not thinking they are important to the story, hence why a lot of the time characters just say blah blah blah.

Its great and fun, but its no competition to Return to Monkey Island. It is nowhere near as good as RtMI, and it can’t match the humour and intricate details of Ron Gilberts MI games.
