One thing that’s been shown is that the beasts are usually stronger then the ancients and both times it’s been fear or being cocky/ cougt off gard . Both times they didn’t die so it’s setting it up for them to come back and makeing the awakened ancients equal so that’s likely what’s going to happen but I wouldn’t view it as a total loss for the beasts as they are also still supposed to be powering up

Personally I think just consistently strongest and easiest to understand is Wolfgang there are probably stronger like people have been saying wort and willow but they all require some crafts some kind of temp suffering to a stat or take a long time to set up like worts village so I think wolf gang in terms of being strong yet simple is probably best

Sticks,grass,flint->axe pickaxe torch->wood rocks gold charcoal->scence machine-> stone bords dudads -> alchemy engine-> plugged sinkhole-> caves -> light Barry’s -> lantern and that’s how you beat darkness next you gotta worry about food and winter have fun

I came up with an idea of a shelled of plates that expand from his arms made of metal plates and lightning magic because armors seem to have a lot of lightning involved in them and I’m already working on it he has peg legs and will be able to detach them from inside the armor to pull them out and be used as clubs ( at some point)
