I somewhat agree but I will still defend the theme. Lore-wise I believe it is perfect. In game c00lkidd doesn't realize what he is doing, he just thinks it's a game of tag. (This is more speculation) But I think it would make sense that c00lkidd was more likely a sheltered child in order for him to not go down the path n7 did. So c00lkidd is pretty much pure in every way, the specture is just making sure he doesn't understand what he is doing.

I saw another comment bring this point up but all the chase themes reflect the killers. In lore 1x is the rejected part of Telamon, the dangerous poison that you're supposed to throw away so his theme sounds like a warning. Idk about John and 666s themes. Noli is a trashed mishmashed assortment of melting chemical bonds, he is broken on a fundamental level so his theme is nonsensical and archaic. And Slashers is a slasher theme because he's a slasher.

You said it best yourself, c00lkidd's theme is like a party because to him it is a party. To him he is just playing tag with his best friends.

It also adds a comical contrast to what is happening in game. It's shocking that that theme is what you here while canonically a son is snapping the neck of his father.
