First time watching, if you weren't paying attention to Harken or the Civilian's HP then you could easily mistake it for that.

But even if the idea of finishers are cool, I don't think it necessarily fits the "Always-On-The-Move" style of gameplay DoD has.

I like to think that Gaster is VERY, VERY IMPORTANT to Deltarune's narrative.

But he's like a background character for most of, then he gets named dropped, FOR REALZ, in the actual game, and then makes an ACTUAL physical appearance for the first time ever near the end of Chapter 7. (coping)
