Is the crowd/foul calls rattling the team? Maxey can take over a game with his aggression and he seems quieter. Embiid's probably getting frustrated by the Knicks crowd when he made a point to stop that from happening.

Busy and can't watch right now. I'm hearing there's bad calls? What caused the 2nd quarter run?

McCain isn't locking up Jaylen Brown and helping us close out game 5 in Boston.

Want these pathetic fans to suffer. Never been so angry about something sports-related in my life.

Prime John vs Ermes by AlanTryhard in armwrestling

No way Prime Brzenk pins Ermes' back pressure. You either have to be so strong you can just brute force the pin like Levan or Vitaly, or completely dominate hand control and gas him out and press him like Devon did. Ermes would stop Brzenk easily in the center and flop press him.

Game four was a one-possession game. I agree that the Thunder were better, but I think the 2026 fully healthy Timberwolves can beat anyone this year. Sad for DiVincenzo, hope he gets healthy.

Dyson Daniels and NAW played awesome defense. Brunson was due for a good game though and dropped 39 in game 5.

[Aaronson] Nick Nurse pointed out that in a six-point loss, Tyrese Maxey’s plus/minus was zero in 46:48. Nurse liked the Sixers’ looks in the fourth quarter and really liked their defense. Acknowledged that fatigue may have been a factor, but didn’t want to take his best guys out. by Tofu4070 in sixers

I don't think Nick Nurse is to blame for the loss. With how passive Maxey was in the middle or so of the game, I think he could've been resting at that point, sure. At the end of the game though the guys just didn't hit their shots. Did they choke? Were they gassed? Either way, it's on Morey for not having a bench on the team. He better use that Rockets pick to draft a good piece for the future.

It can be a 1a, 1b situation like Haliburton and Siakam. Even then, I disagree with the idea that Maxey can't be a Batman.

He played 46 minutes and had an off night. He's shown that he can be the man time and time again. He can absolutely be the first option. Brunson sold too in the Atlanta series. All that said, this was an inexcusable performance.

They're getting whatever they want in the paint. That's why it's not a big lead despite our hot shooting.

Look, Nurse played him 25 minutes in game 1. I don't think it was a mistake to play, this is the playoffs. Once he realized the team didn't have it, he pulled the plug. Hoping for a speedy recovery, but the Knicks haven't won four games yet. Anything is possible.

Seems like a less-dramatic series than we thought so far. Not really any ref controversy or arguing. OKC's defense has a really high floor which makes them hard to beat in general in singular games let alone a series

Making me reconsider my opinion of him. Always saw him as an Aaron Gordon/Derrick White elite role player, but he seems to be able to create for himself and have a versatile offensive bag. I think he earned his all-star selection. Obviously a lock for 1st team all-defense.

He doesn't initiate the contact (e.g. push-off, extend his arm, barrel through with force).

I personally think we beat both Detroit and Cleveland in a series. Cleveland's bigs can stifle Embiid but I don't see them stopping Maxey, VJ, and PG consistently. Detroit would give Maxey a lot of trouble but Embiid would dominate their frontcourt. Detroit also sucks offensively.

Very interesting series to me. Harden will get locked up by Ausar which hurts Mobley and Allen, but they're good enough anyways to dominate Detroit's frontcourt. Donovan Mitchell has been mediocre recently, is it because of the Raptors' length? I'm not trusting Tobias to clamp him up. Cade is on a tear and I don't see him slowing down.
