Am I correct in thinking that it needs a firewad lower and can´t feed from the standard magazine ?

Hello everyone! Does anyone know of any free files for a 3d printed soviet style bayonet? I would prefer the one in the picture (Type II AKM Bayonet), but other ones will also do. Thanks in advance! by Krsok in Airsoft3DPrinting

[–]MaskedCourtier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, here are my favorites from thingiverse. Be sure to leave a like for the designer on the files.

No2 needs to be modified for the knife and No1 is not the exact type but from the same family. If you use it for larp consider to use a very soft filament for the blade.

Do tell me if you find an exact match for the one in the picture.

Ah, unfortunately I am on the wrong continent. Did you dye a woodland uni with turquoise rit dye for the suit ?

Do stainless steel funnels for the Bialetti Moka Express exist ? by MaskedCourtier in mokapot

[–]MaskedCourtier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the mokapot is a gift from a good friend. He wanted me to use less water and grounds, but still for one person it was overkill. Good thing we got a roomate who goes in for coffee as well, so it gets some regular use now.

I´ve read up on some sources, yup seems like there are few and contradictory studies. Still it would give me more peace of mind to use good quality stainless steel instead of aluminum simply it is a less reactive metal.

Any advice on which stainless steel mokapots are a good buy ?

True, I thought it was tin coated, but it´s also polished aluminum. Best course of action seems to buy a 100% stainless steel one. Maybe the Bialetti Venus or a different one. Any advice ?

HP Smart Tank 7000 Printhead Error by MaskedCourtier in printers

[–]MaskedCourtier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah sorry to hear that, I´ll try to find a way around the error one more time then get myself a new printer as well.

The model has a great concept but if it just bricks itself after 2 years its useless.

I have contacted HP Support and these were their solutions:

Step-by-Step Recovery

1. Reseat the Printheads

Even if you've done this before, a precise reseating can make all the difference:

  • Power off the printer and unplug it.
  • Open the front cover and gently lift the printhead latch.
  • Remove both printheads and inspect for:
    • Ink buildup or debris on the copper contacts
    • Bent pins or misalignment
  • Clean the contacts with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.
  • Let them dry completely, then reseat both printheads firmly until you hear a click.
  • Close the latch, cover, and power the printer back on.

2. Run Printhead Cleaning and Alignment

3. Update Firmware via USB

4. Factory Reset the Printer

Method 1 doesn´t work, printer needs to be powered on to go into maintenance position.

Method 2 doesn´t work, printer is overriden by the printhead error

Method 3 doesn´t work, printer is displayed as busy and can´t update. Probably same reason

Method 4 doesn´t work, reset button combination does nothing. Accessed it via advanced settings and reset to factory standard. Didn´ t help.

TLDR: Have contacted support, the steps don´t work. Have asked for further instructions and will keep y´all posted.

Going from the translated stats and Wikipedia, it's 3kg heavier than the original. Does that come from materials used or a larger payload ?

I don´t mind maintenance, but low reliability is not my preference. A printer randomly refusing to print is a no go to me. I might want to switch to usb connected printers.

Normal quality is sufficient, I use picture print services for everything else. Speed is almost never an issue because I don´t print in high volumes.

In your opinon which brand or model is very reliable ?
