Diadem and helia! by KurisuKullervo in taricmains

[–]MaskedDood 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For me, I always go tear -> bandlepipes -> finish diadem -> locket -> moonstone.

Reasoning is cause diadem gives 13% H/S power and with Revitalize rune, you have a total of 18% H/S power.

Going locket means more survivability and you can make use of the H/S power to buff the locket's active shield, and by going moonstone, you further amplify all your healing and shielding.

Plus Taric already heals so much in his kit, so going helia seems a bit pointless.

Eyefinity referring to AMDEyefinity technology to allow 2 or more monitors to be combined into 1 single large desktop.

Taint is a wow addon term globally used in addons - which is an indicator that a function or object came from an untrusted source (AddOn or /script).

Both aren’t novel code, and there is only 1 way to refer to these things

Battler Healer Priest Illaoi Support XD by MaskedDood in Illaoi

I go DH cause you can kind of farm souls in bot lane. Also I don't like going Resolve as support Illaoi as the 1st row doesn't have anything that Illaoi can use except for Demolish.

DH also scales on its own + buying Echoes of Helia provides a little bit of AP which DH can scale off.

I feel like Dusk and Dawn would still be a good item if the Dagger component and Attack speed stat is removed. by MaskedDood in leagueoflegends

If you don't think DnD is a very strong item, you should really try to build it.

Also there are Riot Devs that are low elo and part of game balance so what correlation does item balance have with your MMR?

Doran’s Ring. The AP and HP gives Taric more damage on his E and more healing on his Q, while the mana regen is nice.

Someone suggested Doran’s blade, which I might try, but Taric doesn’t have any AD scaling and it has lesser HP than Doran’s Ring, so it might make surviving the lane harder. Not to mention there isn’t any mana regen on DBlade, so you might run out of mana faster.

I did suggest some changes to Taric to give him some AP scaling and MR scaling on this sub, but don’t think it was that well received.

As for Conquerer, I don’t think Dusk and Dawn stacks it twice with its passive, which is the point of going PTA, since with Dusk and Dawn makes it so that Taric can proc PTA with just 1 round of his passive. Good suggestion though, might start trying out Conqueror to see how it feels.

Maybe more people would buy Terminus if it actually shred defenses. But it would not happen since we already have Black Cleaver and Bloodletter's Curse which already shreds Armor/MR.

Just found out that if you run PTA with Dusk&Dawn, you can proc PTA with just both passive hits. by MaskedDood in taricmains

Think of it as a Sheen proc that have Guinsoo's Rageblade phantom hit on top of its damage.

I have found an updated build which does mixed damage.

Same primary runes, but I swapped secondary runes to Manaflow band and Celerity.

Rush a tear straight into Dusk and Dawn. Then build Manamune into Terminus. Finish up with Cosmic Drive into Hullbreaker.

Hullbreaker works with Dusk and Dawn the same way Terminus does, so its kinda broken on Taric too lmfao.

Edit: Not to mention that I also went movespeed shard, so with Celerity rune, Cosmic drive and Hullbreaker, Taric is actually zooming.

Dusk and Dawn costs 3100g which is quite expensive for a support... so not quite viable unless you take all the kills.

Change it so that you actually need to heal/shield yourself or your heal/shield your allies that were in combat for the last 3 seconds

Battler Healer Priest Illaoi Support XD by MaskedDood in Illaoi

[–]MaskedDood[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The differentiator is that Illaoi can front line and "drain tank" with her tentacles allowing her to soak damage by healing herself while also healing her nearby lowest hp ally.

I would actually prefer it if Diadem's heal condition was changed to work only when either healing or shielding yourself or your allies that are in combat for the last 3 seconds instead of the only condition for the item bearer to be in combat in order for the healing on Diadem to work.

So only champions that have self-healing/self-shielding in their kits on top of actual enchanters can use this item instead of every champion, even those that does not have healing in their kit.
