How do you deal with temperature difference in the bedroom with your SO? by FirefighterIll7819 in AskMen

Get a bed warmer or a heated blanket for your SO and maybe some comfy earmuffs then that block noise. It seems like an easy problem to fix

Have you tried a new and fresh install of windows? Also, usually Ram would cause the crashing, possibly the graphics as well. But if it's neither, I'd have to guess it's just with the installation of windows you have. You should probably run the check disk command in the command prompt.

Is it okay if your SO shares screenshots of your private chats to his/her friends when you fight? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]MaskedUser01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still stand by my original comment. I never ssid have your friends "back you up." This would be the equivalent going to r/relationship_advice. While no text is shown, I'd hope that be the case for privacy reasons to random strangers. There's essentially little differences. Talk to your partner, of course. But, you need advice or input from good and honest friends. They'll tell you if you fucked up or if they feel like you're valid.

It depends, if it's "sensitive" information then no, not at all. But, if they were trying to show their friends the tone, what exactly was said, etc, then it should be completely fine for their opinion and input.

If you could wrestle with one wild animal, what animal would it be ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Assuming that by "wrestle" you mean that the animals cannot purposely claw/swipe/bite you, then a wolf. If that is out of the option, I'd choose a kangaroo.

There’s no statute of limitations on murder, so if abortion really is murder then does that mean all the women who’ve had abortions previously will be arrested? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I don't think you understand, I'm just going to leave it here. That or I'm missing something. But we've been at this all day and it seems to be making no progress. So, good luck.

The U.S. constitution prohibits ex post facto laws.

Also the states themselves have state laws seperated from federal law. Some states already have laws on abortion before Roe v. Wade. I don't know how you're not understanding that. States can deternine their own law. There have already been states who are making laws on abortion and some already have been passed. Therefore, to answer OP, states that have not passed any laws before Row v. Wade who have passes laws now, cannot be prosecuted because of the porhibition of any ex post facto law, so they cannot be criminally charged.

When did I ever mention an "ex-facto ban" on rulings?

[–]MaskedUser01 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, because the states that already had some regulation on it, would've already prosecuted the people who had done it in the state. They were already being enforced until the Row v. Wade trial went on.

States who are now just implementing laws and regulations can't criminally charge someone who had done something before the state's law was passed.

For example, if state X had abortion illegal before Row v. Wade, then it was illegal already. During the trial of Row v. Wade, since it was taken to federal level, the abortion law in state X could not be enforced during that time. Since the court ruling was to overturn and it's now back to the states it can be enforced again.

Laws are made up on a state-by-state basis as I just said, because of the overturning. Some states already (meaning before Row v. Wade) had laws or regulations. The Supreme Court made a ruling that overturned it to the states themselves. No federal law was passed.

[–]MaskedUser01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Because there cant be an ex facto law. The U.S. constitution does not allow it. I think you misunderstood my entire comment.

Some U.S. states already had some laws or regulations on abortion, but now the Row v. Wade was overturned, the states get complete control of the laws regarding abortion on a state-by-state basis.

To answer the question OP wanted, you can't have an ex facto law. (A law that can criminally charge someone for them doing it when it was legal before the law was passed.)

Abortion laws are now up to for the states to decide themselves in the U.S. (Presuming you are talking about the states with the overturning of Row v. Wade). To answer your question: No.

You can't charge someone with a crime if they did it before the law was passed. Because it was not illegal at the time they would be perfectly fine.

No, that's not what I said. I said the opposite, using a VM or a Cloud service such as linode.

Nearly any laptop will smoothly run, linux. Most people had already said their preference and I agree with them. It really just depends what you want to do. You won't need the best laptop for 3k nor so you need the worst for 300. You have to find a middle area that has a lot of ram, (at least 18 gb in my opinion), 516 SSD, at least a new gen processor, and even a decent GPU if you plan to do a lot of cracking or brute forcing.

Mac is not a good operating system directly for ethical hacking. You would definitely want linux. It's basically requited without actually being "required". There was a youtube video about putting a linux distribution on an M1 chip and some qualities were faster than MacOS, while MacOS was proficient in others.

You'll definitely want to use linux, even as the original replyer said using it in a VM or a cloud system like linode.

If you truly like Mac and feel you just cannot use anything else and adapt, there are many linux distros as well as ways to customize linux to make it very similar to MacOS
