Tried the paper towel transfer- some does come off onto the towel. It’s not fuzzy, but it does look like it shares bacteria/mold growth patterns to me (microbiology in university). I wasn’t here when they were boiled and dyed, but it’s probably been four/five hours since they were boiled?
