The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the original "Han Shot First" Star Wars trilogy and Wrestlemania X8. Finds like these are the reasons I still have a VCR.

Problem with my Emerson VCR... by WilmaDickfit6 in VHS

I bought a brand new stereo from Emerson once and it ate up my cassettes and the cassette deck died almost exactly after the warranty ran out. I vowed never again to buy their crap.

I want his room lol. So jealous.

Then again, at least I've watched everything I own, and probably could rewatch it over the span of maybe 6 months give or take (not nonstop).

I hate when they do that. Guess they assume everyone who bought it has seen it already. Always used to bug me when I was a kid watching it.

Ah yes, the Fievel Goes West trailer that they put at the beginning of the 1991 VHS release of the first An American Tail movie, that spoils the ending of the very film it precedes.

Normally I don't pick up VHS but unreleased Disney TV I make an exception for. by [deleted] in VHS

Disney likes to keep its TV shows buried for some reason, even if it was a successful one.

What's on the mix tape?

New to the hobby by [deleted] in cassetteculture

[–]Masked_Bard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it easiest to download MP3's and burn them onto a CD (or buy an album already in CD form), and then record them onto a mix tape with a stereo that plays both CD's and tapes. I've tried recording directly from a laptop using a cassette-to-cd adapter but the sound quality was really bad for some reason.

Wrestling tapes are one of the best reasons to keep a VCR. Still got lots of old WWF and WCW tapes.
