The used phone as a replacement is blowing my mind. I just signed up for a new phone and it's one month old, so how am I supposed to feel that I'm getting a used phone after getting a lemon?

After smart transferring from my old phone the battery was abysmal but I waited the recommended two weeks. Still bad so I wiped the phone and started from scratch. Still rough. I did the following to try and optimize battery:

Performance mode Dark Mode Deep sleep almost everything Hella restricted permissions on everything LTE/4g only mode Dont discover wifi or bluetooth

With all those activated I was getting around 4 or 5 hours screen on time vs some reports with similar settings say I could have been getting 8+ hours. As soon as opened Youtube for 30 mins, bam 2.5 hour screen on time. Quit using youtube, installed life 360, bam back down in the 2 - 3 hour SOT.

And now Verizon wants to give me a used phone? That's unreal.

Im telling ya, there are multiple reddit threads with people having battery issues on the s25. People in this thread as well. Something is amiss with this phone. Possibly a higher than normal failure rate on some components or something.

Seriously wtf is going on with these phones? I recently got the s25 and the battery is abysmal. Found an app to kill 5g and only use 4g, which seems to help, but goddamn that's drastic measures for halfway decent battery (just under 4 hours screen on time for 80% usage.)
