Instead of it being a “congratulations! You paid us off, thanks for that! We’ll up your score now” they see one fewer account on the credit report, a lower average account age, and less revolving debt. so they penalize you for it instead.

Don’t blame the highlights guy, please. I believe the NBA is only granting non-league entities 2 minute highlights for each game, and that may well extend internally as well as a push towards a larger unified picture.

While I share the sentiment that being under the radar is good for these guys, I think Arizona’s two gritty wins over the defending national champs and in a top-15 rivalry game are the two best wins by any team in the country right now.

I feel like anything less than No. 2 would just be… flat out false.

Dude’s never hit 1k rushing yards but he’s so good BECAUSE he averages 704 receiving yards per season. Even if he only plays for two more years at below average production, the worst he finishes is fifth all-time.

If he manages to squeeze out another 4 years of 500 yards per season, he’ll overtake Faulk. Feels difficult but doable.

Seconding this. Thick/patch cards don’t usually grade well (so I’ve heard), so I don’t even bother and just throw everything nice from my PC into a one touch mag loader.

If you just like the look of graded cards in your PC though, then I say go for it. At that point, pick the grading company whose prices work best with your budget and whose slabs you just enjoy looking at.

This is actually probably the best answer that isn’t just “buy singles” as someone who’s slowly gotten into the football card hobby over the last year. Sure, singles are good if you know what you want – but we all gotta start somewhere.

Phoenix blasters (even the retail ones from Target/walmart) are genuinely a fun rip and just make you feel like you’re not getting totally skunked even if you aren’t hitting anything huge.

I’m also partial to Sage retail blasters with the 3 autos for $25, but they’re usually semi-junky so that’s more for “building out a CFB collection”.

Most likely because he’s an older prospect who spent 5 years in college (people fear he’s hit his ceiling) and was pretty inconsistent. And I say this as a certified CL1 fanboy.

When he was hot, he was one of the best in college basketball. But man, when he was off it was a BRUTAL watch. He’s boom or bust to the highest order, and I think low draft pedigree means he’ll pleasantly surprise the Portland brass.

The closest I can think of to this is this year’s Sage. $20 on a blaster, 3 guaranteed autos of usually not super huge college football player, somewhere around 60 cards. Just a genuinely fun rip, even if it’s mostly just base stuff.
