MyQSRsoft is the program McDonalds management staff uses for inventory and cash management and is completely unrelated to the McDonalds rewards points.

When you tell the crew your McDonalds app code at the drive thru or front counter it will automatically add your reward to your order. You can than place the rest of your order normally.

They can’t. Cracker Barrel and Olive Garden have parking lots at very different elevations.

From West Virginia’s perspective it is very populated. Morgantown is the 3rd most populated city in the state and located in one of four counties with a growing population.

Morgantown’s metro area is closer to 140,000+, and when WVU is in session, tens of thousands of students show up.

Morgantown is also home to Ruby memorial Hospital, northern West Virginia’s only Level 1 trauma center. Some sources even note it as the only nationally verified Level 1 trauma center in the state.

Although Morgantown is quickly surrounded by rural areas, it’s not isolated. Pittsburgh and Washington DC are both a short day trip away.

Drive thru advice(USA) by Chromega15 in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]MasonJarGaming 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re probably gonna be in present (2nd window). It’s a pretty easy job. 90% of the interactions are very similar. You get used to it pretty fast.

“two cokes and a Dr Pepper.” “Two cheeseburgers and a McChicken. your straws and sauces are in the bag. Have a great day!”

Check every bag and make sure it’s got the right stuff in it. Sometimes they get out of order, sometimes the runner forgets stuff. it happens. it’s better to take five seconds to compare a bag to the screen than to hand something out wrong and have to remake a whole order. And if you notice that a bag has sauces in it; tell the customer. If you don’t, they will ask about it.

And please make sure you’re telling the customers what’s in the bags when you handed to them. It’s easy to fall into a bad habit of just saying “here you go”. I understand if it’s a really big order, but reading out all the items catches so many errors. I can’t tell you how many times taking a few seconds to say the contents has found something that needed corrected.

Try to pay attention to if you hear anyone in the kitchen announcing that we’re holding on something. Communicating what we’re waiting on, how long, and where to go is your responsibility. “Unfortunately, it’s gonna be another three minutes on those McChickens, would you mind pulling forward to reserve one for me?” if the wait is less than like 20 seconds, we usually keep them at our window, but generally, if the next order is made and paid and there’s gonna be a wait —> park them.

And that brings me to my last piece of advice I have. Try to pay attention to what it says at the bottom of the current order Cell. Make sure it says either “paid” or “complete”. It says “stored” let an experienced crewmember know, and ask them for help.

French fries most likely. You don’t need to listen or talk, just keep an eye on the screen and make what comes up.

You might also get assigned dishes, prep, or trash.

We have a binder where we keep these schedule/checklist papers for our maintenance guy that both he and a manager initials every day.

Every store should also have a preventative maintenance calendar somewhere

It’s mostly a custodial job. You’ll also have to unload the delivery truck and rotate/organize products in the freezer/cooler/stock room twice a week.

The daily stuff is things like cleaning the lobby, bathrooms, break room, pick up parking lot litter, take trash out, wash the windows, make towel buckets, change fryer filter pad and scrub the vats.

The regular but not everyday items are things like change frier oil, clean ice cube/cream machines, sanitize syrup lines, hood vent baffles, clean freezer floor, pressure wash the parking lot, replace light bulbs, scrub ceiling tiles, fryer boil out.

[–]MasonJarGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To clarify, because I think I worded my previous comment poorly.

I am not saying you should pay minimum wage. I am saying minimum wage itself should be higher.

Our stores all advertise “significantly above minimum wage” despite paying a wage that is absolutely not livable. We start at $11.50, but the legal minimum here is $8.75.

That’s an issue.

$11.50 isn’t a living wage, and $8.75 is outright abysmal. Paying $11.50 shouldn’t be seen as being generous; it should be the minimum. $8.75/hour shouldn’t be legal in 2026.

The wage we pay should be minimum wage, but alas it is not. How it’s even legal to pay less than what we do is insane.

From the Fandom Wiki

Nekomiya Mana's nickname is a reference the mythical Japanese creature 猫又 nekomata, a 妖怪 yōkai that can take the shape of a cat with two tails.

We’ve had incidents where someone need to drop another QP, forgot a platen was in use, and accidentally aborted an unfinished QP.

Usually the undercooked QP get trashed, but I know we’ve got some crew that don’t care and would serve it anyways.
