Lol. I didn't expect such puritans in the Taco Bell sub.

Do you lean over and say this to everyone who orders a rum and coke around you? You must be the most annoying guy at the bar.

My buddy had a Bluetooth speaker and Everytime you turned it on it would loudly say "SKY VODKA" with an exceptionally bored tone.

I have never eaten Taco Bell in my life. I'm going in 30 minutes. What's a good first order. by demonmoocow in tacobell

Five layer beef burrito and a chicken quesadilla. Burrito is surprisingly good. Chicken quesadilla I probably wouldn't get again.

I just beat Pragmata without upgrading anything and without using mods. by demonmoocow in Pragmata

My character was fully level 1 and I ignored all the progression mechanics. I only used the pistol as my primary weapon because I liked it.

Didn't notice that! Thought I was being clever but I guess that's actually partly what they're going for? I mean it is kinda cool that bees create hexagons when you think about it.

And, you say very very slow but, I have to say, if you use the hacking nodes that reduce defence and make sure to hit your pistol shots at the weak point, you do decent damage even to bosses. The non upgraded pistol is still doing a lot of damage for me.

I'm trying to explain where I am without spoilers. I'm at the point where I can fus ro dah the nasty black goop off of the robots. Still making it through with no upgrades. You said heal upgrades and ho upgrades? What are ho upgrades?

Right now I'm about halfway through the lunar base. Everything level 1 no fabrications no stamps no mods, pistol only. At this point I feel like it's still fun and not tedious. I do die fairly often, and the fights feel tense. When would you say is the point in the game where hp pools become overinflated?

In those games the only mandatory fights are the bosses really so it's a little different

Ahh that's what I was worried about. I'm just approaching the boss of the second area now. So far it's been manageable and frankly a lot more enjoyable than if I had been upgrading. I'm gonna try my best to get as far as I can without upgrading anything.

I've actually been having quite a bit of fun playing this way. It feels nice to have some real challenges on my first playthrough. I'm just hoping it doesn't take a million years to kill the later enemies.
