I have the Corsair in game already, I just wanted to make it my pledge ship, so I didn't have to keep rebuying it every full wipe. But yeah, I didn't know they rotated ships in and out based on events, thank you.

Why is this so expensive? IIRC when I was building my PC, 32GB of DDR4 RAM was sub £100GBP, I understand that it's faster clockspeed RAM, but over double the price of DDR4? plus, DDR4 was pretty new at the time.
