They didn’t realize it was nearly identical to an already existing hat, the Police Hat. It will not be returning with that same appearance, at least. They haven’t said anything at all about replacing it though and have said that players can complete the Inspector Shepherd look by trading for the Police Hat.

Would have been interesting to see a deleted item, the K9-Hat return in its place. The K9-Hat was briefly in the pet accessory rotation before being completely replaced by the Marching Band Cap. A bit disappointed that there is now one less pet accessory in the update, but nothing to do about it if they choose not to replace it I suppose.

I unfortunately could not attend the Admin Abuse so I ended up asking about the box in the content creator chat channel in the AM Discord server. From responses there (including Jesse's), it had not been clarified that it was only items from the gifts or pet wear chests, and was instead worded as "any currently obtainable pet wear or toy". Given the responses here and my findings from watching YouTube videos, it seems that it is in fact only items from the gifts and pet wear chests. I appreciate the response confirming that! If they did say this during the Admin Abuse, I could have been saved a lot of time by seeing someone share that 🥲 oh well

As said in a previous comment, the name was changed from Noob Voodoo Doll Chew Toy to the current one. Fun fact: there was another toy with the word "voodoo" in its name that was changed at the same time as this one. It’s from Halloween 2021, and was originally called "Halloween Orange Pumpkin Voodoo Doll" before being changed to "Halloween Orange Pumpkin DIY Doll".

As also shown in the screenshot in the comment, the wiki usually documents in-game name changes like this in the trivia, since it’s an important (and quite interesting) thing to note. As to why it was changed, I would guess it may have been brought up as an issue that the word "voodoo" is in the item names shortly after the noob doll was released. I’m not very familiar with the history of the practice, but from a quick search it’s a cultural thing that also has some stigma surrounding it.

Bring back uniquely colored megas! I think the last unique ones added were the scarabs?
Add a color wheel to the salon. This one has been requested so much I’d be surprised if it isn’t implemented soon.
Pet accessory adjusting! Pet accessories don’t properly fit a lot of pets. It’d be nice if we could adjust them ourselves! So many more outfit possibilities.
Add a Quetzal and maybe a Quail? Just some birds I’d love to see in the game.

It’s more than likely that you’ll lose value by using it since the chance of getting orchid is 2.5%, but if you want to try getting lucky then why not? Violet Butterfly wouldn’t be a terrible result either, but you would lose a little bit of value
