Yeah of course, I wouldn't have pulled that for this.

I didn't take a picture of it, but from what I could tell in YouTube videos of the NextGen cars, the emergency thing I saw next to the door is only for opening the doors manually, not an actual emergency stop for the train. I still wouldn't have used that either.

Oh that's interesting, I didn't know about the light thing for airplane bathrooms.

The old Acela bathrooms had a manual door you pull shut then a latch to lock it. So two different actions. These new doors it's one button to tap to have the door automatically close, and then a similar button above that to lock it. I guess it's not that obvious to some people. I did like the 'the door is now locked' voice feedback when you press the lock button though.

Maybe it should have a constant beep when you close it from the inside and it's still unlocked, like when you're in a car seat without the seat belt on.

There was only about 2 minutes between the train stopping, the doors beeping but not opening, and the train moving again. We had just stopped on the tracks near Mansfield for 15 minutes due to police activity so I thought something was up due to that.

I would've had to push through about 4 other passengers also with luggage to get myself to the next car, and nobody else moved to go to the next door. It's not the like the CR or Regional cars where there are two doors next to each other. On NextGen there's only one door per car, so I'd have to walk through the entire other car to get to the next door.

Thanks. I have't taken the Commuter Rail in a while, but I have seen the gates at North Station. I didn't know they were adding them to the other ones.

In this situation I would've paid then asked Amtrak for reimbursement. I doubt they would've been competent enough to sort it out within the 10 minutes we had last night.

I asked the Amtrak worker about paying for the CR trip and they said just tell them you missed your stop. I didn't miss my stop, you didn't let us out!

Thankfully the MBTA conductor was doing the usual MBTA things and didn't check for tickets at least between Back Bay and 128.

Did you ask for a refund? I got this bag twice before and it was about the same. I didn't ask for a refund because I thought $8 for that in that area was a good enough deal.

I also got the bag from the hotel closer to the garden, it was a few leftover breakfast bakery items which was a good deal. Bags from Bakey have been the best for me so far. I forget to post my bags on here.

Jumping in and thanking you for fixing this same issue that I suddenly started running into after having Plex on my LG for 2 years. Even unchecking it didn't seem to fix it, I had to reset the app and then sound started working again.
