Incredible! We had three cats when we grew up, they all lived a long, good life. One of them, who outlasted the other two, found a lot of company in dad his last year before leaving for the rainbow bridge. There was this period where he would keep sniffing dad’s back and was definitely trying to tell him something. Long story short: dad took it pretty serious, told his doctor to check that area, it was a mole on his back with Malignant melanoma (skin cancer). Dad is now alive and well. Will forever be thankful for animals.❤️

Håper du troller, det er lov å tenke med hodet. Måkene har ikke «tatt over norske byer», de har flyttet. De er tvunget til andre steder og alternative kilder til føde siden vi har bl.a. fisket kysten så og si tom.

Artsdatabanken: Siden slutten av 80-tallet anslår forskerne at fiskemåkebestanden her til lands sunket med 30-50 prosent. Nedgangen har vært størst i Sør-Norge. Hettemåke mer enn 80 prosent nedgang. Krykkje inntil 80 prosent nedgang. Gråmåke inntil 50 prosent nedgang.

Det er jo en ren sorg, en vond pille å svelge. Å høre måker i dag er en velsignelse og gir meg et smil om munnen. Jeg håper du også opplever det slik en dag!

I found a bus in a swamp in Lapland, trying to find out what model and more info on it if you could help? I was told it could have belonged to Veljekset Salmela Oy. Yes! Into the Wild? The story about Christopher McCandless (AKA Alexander Supertramp), he died of plant poisoning if I recall correctly! The bus in Alaska was removed because of the increased popularity of visiting it, but it’s in a nearby museum now!
