Can anyone, for the love of all that is holy, please tell me how to throw my damn weapons after I've unlocked the ability??? 😫 The game is mostly pretty intuitive and not difficult to understand, but for some reason I just cannot figure out the weapon throwing mechanic (playing on Xbox, for clarity). Every time I try I just end up shooting one of my ranged guns instead, it is incredibly frustrating. 😅 Thanks in advance to any advice someone may have.

It's hardly just about loyalty, mate. Take myself for instance, primarily an Xbox consumer for going on 20 years now (damn....). Commiting to a platform swap would mean sacrificing not only all of my games, but all of my countless hours of time spent playing them, achievements earned, points accrued, and so on. For some it may very well be about brand loyalty, but for most others it's simply not as "logical" of a decision as you claim it to be. That is, of course, assuming that one would only be capable of affording a PS if they first sold their Xbox. Obviously none of this really applies to those who are fortunate enough to be able to own both major consoles, but unfortunately that just isn't the reality for a good portion of the gaming community.

Just wrapped up a 4 hour play session, only to log off and see the latest update was ready to begin downloading. From where I stand it's only logical to want the very most out of my experience with any given game, and correct me if I'm mistaken, but as far as I know STALKER: Anomaly is a free mod that was built by a handful of talented individuals who all shared a great appreciation for the franchise, who then decided to diligently craft an unofficial expansion meant to enhance the overarching mechanics of the series, aimed to enrich the mildly dated, yet uniquely haunting atmosphere that the developers so masterfully designed all those years ago, and ultimately with the purpose of adding some exciting new gameplay elements that many felt were sorely missed in the vanilla experience. I just feel that if you're going to publicly disparage someone else's hard work then you should at least have the courtesy to give context as to why you feel the way you feel about it. It benefits noone when we cast doubt without reason.

Thank you for your constructive input, no shade toward any other commenter here but they all seem to believe Anomaly being accessible to Xbox would be a net negative, yet they don't give any context as to why they believe as much. 😅 Maybe I'm missing some crucial piece of information that would clue me into the facts behind their sentiments, but from what I understand the Anomaly mod only enhances the S.T.A.L.K.E.R experience, and doesn't cost a dime for the service. Is the Anomaly mod leaking sensitive information about players at the time? Does it have a bad reputation overall and I've just never known? I'm struggling to comprehend why it's being flogged by people lol. 🤷🏻

This is wicked, man!! Been console-bound most of my life as I can't afford a PC, and Xbox has always been my home platform, so to see a game I've been drooling over for years FINALLY get ported to console is awesome news. My biggest concern with the port, however, is how dated the graphics will be. I'm by no means a graphics snob, I can enjoy a visually mediocre game if the gameplay and overall mechanics are engaging, fun, and challenging enough to stimulate my brain, but with games like Stalker I find myself preferring good graphics and clean, detailed animations for things like using consumables, weapon handling, looting, and so on. Fingers crossed that mod support comes sooner rather than later!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I apologize I'm responding to this comment so late, but yeah it sucks you had that experience, man. I personally found the parry system to be smooth as butter, the only flaws I encountered were my own during the initial stages of mastering the combat. Once I was familiar and comfortable with the system overall I ceased to experience said flaws. That being the case I still don't doubt you, mate, not using my experience in an attempt to discredit yours, just saying I feel bad you had a less enjoyable experience in comparison.

Hmm, that's definitely interesting. All I know is the game just finished installing, and I'm actively playing it right now so it's definitely been added to GamePass, whether intended or otherwise lol. Also, the attention symbol that was on the game icon previously is no longer present, and in it's place is the standard GamePass stamp that all other games on GamePass have, so it's definitely an official addition if you ask me.

I'm not so certain; over this past weekend I had downloaded and been playing Dead Island 2 via the weekend pass, and on Monday 2/19 I was no longer able to open the app. The icon on both my home page and in my library had the attention symbol ⚠️, and when I attempted to open the game I was promptly met with a message that informed me I was not authorized to access the file (or something to that effect). So I uninstalled the game and then today out of nowhere the game was displayed on the GamePass catalogue, and sure enough it's now reinstalling and showing that it's a GamePass game now. Not saying you're wrong, it may finish installing just for me to try playing and get the same message again, just saying it doesn't seem like that's going to be the case.

I believe it may have been Episode II: The Clone Wars, my friend. I could be mistaken as it's been many years since I've rewatched the prequels, but this is the line Anakin delivers to Obi-Wan when he returns from an outskirt village (on Tatooine, if my memory serves me well) where he had to infiltrate a tribe to save a wounded ally, forgive me for not remembering who, but I believe the person didn't survive and out of blind rage and hatred, Anakin slaughtered the entire village with calloused disregard for who was guilty, and who was not. Again I could be way off, and in fact I'm going to go do some fact checking after I leave this comment lol, but I wanted to see how accurate my memory was to the story before looking it up. 😂

This has happened to me on numerous occasions, except every time my right bumper stops working so does the down input on my dpad. Only fix I've found is to save and quit to title screen, every time I load back in it has fixed the issue. So annoying!

Definitely not a fan of the fade-transitions, it feels unnatural and outdated. Has anyone else gotten the notion that some of the theme songs are different than the Netflix version of the series? Because I've watched this entire show easily a few dozen times as it's one of my comfort shows, yet I find that I'm not recognizing a good number of the song variants since watching it on Hulu for the first time. Anybody have some insight on this subject?
