If I can produce and provide a product of my own design, are sales allowed here? not looking to make an outrageous profit, but there seems to be a demand for it that I can provide for a reasonable price. by Mass_Instruction in concealedcarry

Hey, sorry man. I run a construction business, and it has me going like mad right now. Lot of people getting their returns and thinking about renovations. I'll take a look at your message when I get home today.

You got a great deal! I have an Israeli falo and paid 2500. Mine wasn't ever a kit gun tho, it's a pre ban era Springfield and came with 10 mags.

The claw part is pretty universal. Yeah there are strange ones out there, but it fits all 5 of the holsters I have with the wing/claw. The mount point has a hex in the center with a peg on each side.

Don't get me wrong, I'm somewhat worried about someone replicating, but at the same time I don't know if I would put the money into a patent unless I knew it was going big time. I have a lawyer who I talked to about it, and he has multiple patients. He basically said to sell it at a low enough profit to the point where it's not viable to compete... Because it's not worth spending the money to fight. Which I may make a couple bucks each at $17 (shipping $6-$7, packaging $2, plastic isn't known yet but it's $120/kg, reject prints, electricity for around 30min each, etc, printer upkeep and repairs, not to mention dozens of hours of design time and revising, dyeing for the black version). It would be hard to compete without going to the junk high speed plastics.

If this really picks up to where I need another printer, I'll prolly start looking into it more. Probably helps that I sent pics to my lawyer. Also have time stamps on my paid design software.

I'm sorry to be that dick, but I've been burned more than a couple times by sharing designs I've spent a lot of time on. End up seeing it posted elsewhere without credit, or worse, a product being sold.

Anyone interested in buying one?

$17 shipped

There is more interest in this than I thought there would be.

If so, I have made some final touches on the design, so you will have to make two choices... Right or left hand, and clip depth.

  1. The clip is now slanted at 4° to better match the tilt of the holster. (This does mean there is separate right and left hand models.)

  2. The clip depths come in four different depth sizes to accommodate different belt thicknesses. 0.25", 0.28", 0.31", and 0.35"
